I have had an adapter for 6 months now, no problems. But i recently had a power surge and the red indicator light that comes on in the beginning isn't turning on normally. ( i have to unplug/plug it for it to turn on ) When it's working it's not detecting the wireless i have. I'm using the wireless right now on my laptop so i know it isn't my network. Any help, suggestions, ideas?

Does a wired connection work? It might have bust it. I recommend getting surge protectors for whatever plug you use for your 360. It may have had it. I hope for you sake it hasn't had it though, because they cost £60 each (if it has had it, get a 3rd party one for £5. There's no downside to a cheap one if the expensive one breaks)

If your adapter is fried, you can easily replace it. They are pretty cheap compaired to other things like them.
