Every game has music. In some cases it fits well, and enhances game play, in others.... Well lets just settle for every game has music. We have all noticed music in the background of our mindless killing (in the case of Halo), or it was the main point of a game (Rock Band, or Guitar Hero). Some of the games on the market have music that fits perfectly with the main idea of the game (ie "I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire" Fallout 3), and make you feel truly part of the experience. In your opinion what are some of the best games for music, or simply have a music that fit perfectly with the game?
The game's soundtrack really never does anything for me, except for Rock Band and GH. I usually ignore it, and it never usually ends up on my iPod. Nice sig btw. It's been enticing me for the past 5 minutes... LMAO! The big eye fell over!
I always listen to GNR radio's music on Fallout 3. But yeah, other games like Bioshock have similar music. If you turn off the radio in Fallout 3 you just hear like 'scary' music every time an enemy is near.
Personally, the music makes the diff for me. Mind you it might have to do with im a musician, but i actually pause playing for a second just to listen to the music.
There's a good song by MyChildren MyBride, entitled "Headshot" It's based upon Halo. Is that what you meant by music that fit in with the game? Or no?
Call of duty 4 is just too epic. I mean helicopters touching down while the electric guitar is playing.
I still don't see what is so good about Dragonforce that it needs to be in a skating game. Hints towards Skate 2. Otherwise Rock Band 2 has a way better music selection compared to Guitar Hero. And yeah music in the games is very important in a video game.
Skate, Burnout 3, and SSX 3 all had some solid soundtracks for their respective games. Music wise though I would have to say LoZ: Ocarina of Time takes the cake. It's music fits so well with the game, and it always stirs my emotions. Honorable Mentions include Halo: CE and LoZ: Twilight Princess
