Download Haunted Rig Download Ghostbusters Gametype Description: Ghostbusters is inspired in most part by the classic 1980's movie by the same name. The events of this game occur shortly after the events of Ghostbusters 2, the inferior, but still enjoyable sequel. For this haunting the Ghostbusters have been contacted by the multi billion dollar oil mogul, Buzz Killington. It seems his most precious oil rig has been taken over by hordes of crazed ghouls! Fearing the loss of even a single penny, he made the call to......(queue theme music)....The Ghostbusters!!! Unfortunately for the guys the pilot of the plane tasked with dropping them off is too chicken to land the plane, so the guys are gonna have to parachute onto the rig. So as the plane passes over the head of all the devious ghouls, the guys grab their Proton Packs (Sentinel Beams) and jump from the back side bay door of the plane. You have to do this within 60 seconds of the round starting, or else you may crash and burn! Now that they have landed, it's time to bust some ghosts!!! But beware, these ghosts can be tough in numbers. You will be able to take a few on your own, but if the swarm they will most definitely over take you. At their disposal the ghosts have slime (Plasma Pistols) and good old fashion rush tactics. Remember when Peter Venkman was slimed by Slimer in the hotel? That is the ghosts choice of offense. Just charge up your slime, let it fly, and knock them Ghostbusters over (Melee)!!! Each time a Ghostbuster busts a ghost he gets one point. When a ghost has been busted he will respawn in the Containment unit. And from there the ghost can exit through the one way door in the front of the unit, or from one of the 2 sender nodes on the inside. Ghostbusters have 2x Overshields and Proton Packs, making them powerful foes. But the ghosts have slime and numbers on their side. For every Ghostbuster slimed and turned into a ghost, the ghost who did the deed will receive 3 points. For being the last Ghostbuster standing said buster will also receive 3 points. 5 rounds per game and no time limit are the name of the game and obviously the man with the most points is the winner. The map is Default Blackout with a few changes. First is the basic barrels and wooden boxes strewn about the map. Simple stuff. Second is the random doors left partially open, this allows for a bit of cover but also leaves all avenues open. The third thing you will notice is the teleporters strategically placed about the map. They are all set to the same channel so they act in a random fashion, delivering you to random parts of the map. Forth are the deployable grav lifts. These serve as a way to get up through the hatches of Blackout or to just mess up ghosts. And finally, to top it all off is the Juicy filter. This adds a slightly darker shade to the map while giving the Proton Beams a more authentic look. That about does it. This is my first foray into Infection so hopefully you all enjoy it. Now go bust some ghosts and for god sakes don't cross the streams!!! Pics:
Hey you finally posted it. I am glad to say that when we tested it it was great. I see you added teleporters. I can't tell if you made the ghosts any stronger. It was a fun minigame over all though. I will get back to you after I play this version. I see you also made it so you can't camp the plane. =/
I really enjoy these gametypes, u said u didn't change most of the map right. So it's basically the same, invis humans, zombies try to get them. Might dl 2morow. Good joab mister 28 not 15 year old guy I know, u put a plane and a containment chamber, so I guess it's not just a gametype
This seems to be a really cool map, great detail on the work in the sky, and the pictures you showed, shows the true potential of the map, i think this can go really well in a large or small Infection map. I like the use of the shield doors, and how you placed them, and the man cannons, very unique map!
Woah, this looks like a sweet map you've got here. It actually reminds me a lot of ghostbusters. It always seems like the people are separated though. Is that just because the testers wanted to or does sticking together work well? I guess I will find out lol cued
The map encourages free movement so if it's the start of the match you could get away with moving around freely. If it comes down to 2 of you left it may be smart to team up. We're not talking a highly competitive match here though, it's straight casual through and through.
awsome map, ingenious airplane, could be used good for many other games on blackout, anyways, overall good map, like the plane, 4.3/5
Darn you Creep1ng! You beat me to it! I had been thinking about the idea of having a """"Real"""" Ghostbusters map with the guns and everything. But I just couldn't think of how to do it. This is a new idea, and as most new ideas get. This gets a 5/5 Great job Creep1ng and I think I'm going to be jealouse forever now due to this being another feature worthy map of yours. this is a cool map definate dl but it can the ghost get out or are they stuck in there? i also like the ship very creative.the other ghostbuster are so boring 5/5
Wow, that plane could be a map all by itself. Superb job! It looks like a great game to play with lots of people, and I hope that this makes it's way into the TGIF line-up (no doubt Vicious will comply) and that It gets lots of recognition. The only thing that I had a question about was the base map. (Disregarding the "Containment Field") Are there any other cool features on the map, or just some scenery and cover? EDIT: I just read the part of the post about the map itself. Man, I really hate people who don't read posts completely, so I guess I'm a hypocrite.
good map i like the idea of the weapons it does make me think of ghostbusters. i thought that the plane looked really nice it was a really good idea having them drop out from it, gives a good effect. so good job keep up the good work and i hope to see you making more maps in the future ok
Oh wow this is amazing. I saw this and went DOWNLOAD NAO! This is way better than the other ghostbuster maps. I also like the plane, it's wonderfull, and the fact you can't just camp up there is awesome too. I also like using the sentinal beem so I hope I'm a buster when I play. Good job.

Lol, congratz. I remeber I had to leave right before we tested this on sunday... saaad faic... I had teh idea to do a 'ghostbusters' game on foundry featureing the final scene of the first movie, but it never got finished. I would suggest giving one "buster" a trip mine, to take place of the temporary traps they use in teh movies. Some many good maps coming from you recently, damn.
Funny, I don't remember a full size forged and asthetically incredible pelican on default Blackout... maybe im just blind! Gametype looks awesome, Map looks incredible... I smell feature! Odd that the last two feature worthy maps I've seen are on Blackout...
wow like all of your maps this is epic, jumping from the plane is quite fun, as is screaming "don't cross the beams!" and "he slimed me!" into the mike, however i must admit i was a little dissapointed. What i really love about you as a forger is your ability to give new and original idea. However when i played this map i felt like i was just playing a really good infection map, not a totally new experience like with most of your maps. I must admit that it was quite fun being a ghost, i expected to be board of plasma punching, but i honestly never get bored of sneaking behind someone, the screaming "you just got slimed!" and plasma punching them, the ghost respawn room was O.K. but i wish you had done some giant twist to infection as we know it but it's only your first try it's still pretty dang fun, if any of that made sense. 4 people humming the ghost buster them song, out of 5
Wow, this looks ridiculous! I wish I though of something like this. Personaly, i think you should have made ghosts white, for obvious reasons. And, in the movie, were the ghost aloud to just walk out of containment after they get busted? This game isn't too much different from ordinary infection, but in my opinion having a fun theme makes a game great. And this is themed perfectly so kudos.
yea this is fun and stuff but i dont think it gets a 5/5 becuz there is not really much to the map but its fun 3.9/5
Cool. I logged onto FH tonight in search of a cool new casual (possibly Infection) gametype to play with my party to mix things up a bit. And guess what I found.... Well, I haven't played it yet, but I'm certainly interested. Be back later.
