    Tactica v2
    This is the second version of the map I created a couple of weeks
    ago called Tactica. This is a small tactical gameplay based map.
    It contains two bases that are both unique in their own way. I used
    the back of Foundry and the hallway as my main inspiration, because
    they are extremely underused, and I believe they have tremendous
    potential. From the start I knew this was going to be an objective
    based map for the gameplay, so even though its extremely fun for
    Slayer, objective gametypes are the way to go.

    There are a few gametypes that are the best for it:
    King of the Hill
    Infection(Especially Hide and Seek)
    Team Slayer
    FFA
    Tower of Power
    Assault
    1 Sided Flag

    Changes from the v1 version:

    Starting with the attackers side anybody that played the v1 version
    will see a tremendous change in the layout of this base. I have extended
    the total area of the side out about 1 and a half boxes wide which really
    makes this base feel more open. The hole in the right corner has now been fixed
    so its neater and actually playable. I have added
    an Active Camo on this side on the end of the hallway. The shotgun
    in the hallway has been removed and replaced with a mauler because
    it was to overpowering.There is a energy sword that I have placed exactly
    between the two bases. It only starts at the beginning of the game, so use
    it wisely. The defenders side has been updated ever so slightly because I
    thought from the beginning the layout of this side was superior enough.
    The side base by the sniper perch in the hallway has been readjusted slightly
    to make more room for people to move around. The main base has had its
    crate removed and replaced with a wire spool and pushed to the
    back so the ground floor is more open. I have also sealed up the map so now
    its impossible(at least for me and a few people)to get out.
    If you do manage
    to get out please message me so I can fix this.
    The teleporters that
    were on the attackers side have also been removed.
    The mauler has been removed
    from this side and the bubble shield by the turret has replaced it.

    Looks good. I think i saw the first version and this is a good improvement. I really like the layout of it. Kinda reminds me of Remedy. good job 4/5

    i think you should make a tunnel in the front that people can go through.that would open up ways to get through the map but good forging for v2.hope your make v3 lol

    good map but did I see 2 Active camos??? Fix that and just to know a little thing on escapeing maps. "If you can get out in forge without deleteing anything chances are its escapeble.

    maybe make teleporters on each side of the map to get to the other.. like in doors or something that is less noticible than a giant green glowing light.. and if it was possible, I would ether replace the sword with a 5 shot shotgun on a 120 sec respawn, or make the sword only have 50 charge [lol] also, maybe you could make a 2-flag variant to it. Basically whta you need is more than one cramped up way between the bases. 4.5/5 great work, will look for v3

    The reason I put in 2 active camos is because when your playing like 1 flag for instance with 4 people on each team, it works around peoples strategys. Before when there was only 1 camo on the one side, that side would have a huge advantage, but now that their is two camos it is more balanced and adds more exitement to the tactical side of this map. As for getting out of the map, I never said that it was impossible, for the 15 people or so including me that I had try to get out of the map, they couldnt, but if you do get out of the map obviously tell me and how.

    The sword never respawns after the start of the game so its not like one team will dominate, you can use it till you cant then its done with that. As for the 2 ways to get to each base, I understand that and im in the process of looking at that for a v3 but for now the hallway demands good teamwork which what I originally planned on.

    That is small! I can't try it out for now, stupid Halo stops whenever the batteries stop flowing for a sec... looks good, how long did it take you?

    Ive been working on a map like this for quite a while, probably 2 months but about 1 month ago I really knew how I wanted it so the first took about 1 week to 2 weeks and this remake took me about 4 hours because I was trying different concepts

    Matt, you should change the spawn on camo on the non tower side to symmetrical so it only appears in the balanced games.
