ONI CASTLE base

    Map Title: ONI CASTLE base
    A map of doom for the living.

    ONI CASTLE
    ONI base

    Description:
    On Reach there is a powerful base build by the humans. ONI C.A.S.T.L.E. base was meant to protect the humans from nuclear strikes but it did not save them from the covenant. The experiments that were conducted here have escaped their prison and are now ready to take revenge on those who have done this to them.

    Now I know what you are thinking, a ring with nothing but the advantage given to the humans...

    Humans go through these portals (some on the other side) to get into the main ring.

    Zombies spawn here, on the other side of the energy field

    This is where the humans fight and a few will die

    Now, again you are thinking, I have seen this done so many times it is just sad. Well, surprise!

    After 60 seconds, this baby spawns. A second level, and a few of the blocked teleporters will be freed (a few wont, I have yet to work that problem out)
    Here is where the zombies have a MAJOR advantage over the humans. Any human lucky enough to survive for another minute will be met with the last level

    The final level is a lone shotgun with TWO teleporter nodes in the box (so you don't get to camp). Here is where you are meant to die.

    Thus giving it the "stacked cake" look

    Known issues:

    1. Some teleporters can be used when blocked, or will not be freed when they are supposed to

    2. The bottom level might not be interlocked well

    3. The middle level's wall is not... well... level...

    4. The death box (the top level) is not fused together totally, so there is a space open around it

    5. The last human in the death box can suicide to get out to spawn at the beggining, but the alpha zombie can get him (more on that in a second.)

    Gametype:

    1. Humans are normal in every way (except for sensors... those are gone now)

    2. Alpha zombie has full camo and a less gravity, to it can jump higher

    3. Zombies have weak camo and all of the (even the alpha) can be one shotted

    4. Magnums are the only weapons for the humans (go figure) minus the shotty

    5. 5 rounds for the game

    6. Ten minute time limit (I think...)

    looks preety complicated. but the way i see it is, the humans eventually get trapped in a smaller and smaller box, starting with a big ring and ending w/ a fence box? right? :/
    im glad theres a time limit. but why dont u just put repawns inside the ring instead of using teleporters to get in???
    Unrelated; why do people call the teleporters portals??

    for the map id give it a 4/5 for creativity and its well built. just a few things u coulda donr better. i shall DL tho.

    I'll remember to implicate most suggestions given for later versions. Thanks for the feedback :D

    Oh, and you are right about the process.

    And portals are about the same thing I guess... that just what Bungie calls them, so I am also.

    hmm cauld the human camp on one tele then shoot the othere guys coming from the other one

    Well, I thought everything looked good until the second level. It looks thrown together. I'm sure it is still just as fun. It'll just look better if you fixed it.

    so the humans just have to go inside the teleporters? what if they dont want to go into the teleporters? i think thats a problem u should fix, because if they know the zombies are going to go through the teleporters and the humans dont go, then they know they're going to never die. but forge wise, i think that some parts are kinda in a slant and some walls are off angle. try using other objects to help angle your walls, like stairs. i also notices that on pic #8 the second floor is almost at a total slant. id stay 2.8/5

    its a very basic an unoriginal map, plus the interlocking needs to be fixed up a bit. 2/5

    and also, there really isnt anything about this map that makes it seem like CASTLE

    seems like people can just roam anywhere on Foundary- are the back tunnels open? or did you block them off?

    but the maps where parts spawn overtime is cool.
    the final room should have 4 recievers because you can still camp the corners- and you can stand on top of one teleporter- block it- then shoot the other 1

    Yeah, I didn't think of that one. But most people I know don't. I will fix that in a later version.

    Unfortunately the Halo books to not give very good description of ONI's base, so I just threw that together and called it that (also part of the unoriginality).

    No, I didn't seal off the back (I will fix that soon) and you are right that the final teleporter should have 4 receiver nodes. Like I said, I will make sure to fix that.

    The alpha zombie would be the only one that can jump up and out, so I will change the gravity or change the stage so they can get out if the others guys stay out. And, like I said, the second level walls are slanted because I used bridges underneath and they did not merge well with eachother and other objects. So I will probably remove them and fix up the box walls or change the boxes to actual walls (probably the latter than the former).

    Thanks, I will fix it in a little while. I need a little break from forging then I will fix it and upload it.
