An Iron Man esque paint job would definitely look awesome. Ferrari red and gold just look too damn good next to one another

The black jagged line ruins it. You could have trick everybody by keeping it red and said that you got the new special edition red 360 controller. But i respect your creativity, and it looks cool. Try coloring a controller with an outrageous color that we'll probably never see, like Blue green or something...
I think it's cool and all but i mean when it all comes down to it, the last thing your doing when you're playing videogames is looking at the color of your controller
Uhm, it sets you apart from the crowd? It's called personalizing. When friends are over, they goggle at your amazing controller that looks so much better then their standard ones. You put pictures of it on the internet, and everyone comments how cool it is. Sure, custom paintjobs on controllers and consoles serve no practical use, but they still look cool.
yeah, people spend money on customizing things all the time. it doesnt serve a practical purpose, but doesn't have to. it doesnt really matter
