Cargohold by Toofgib and africanBoi Cargohold is a large asymmetric map, setup for all gametypes and a maximum of 4 teams. Preferred party size being 8 players and up. Cargohold gets its name from the shipyard located opposite of the Administration Building. The defensive Administration building contains many corridors and floors with vehicles included. It also has a wrap around porch with contains a turret for King of the Hill Brutality. (Wrap Around Porch) (The Administration Building Ground Floor) The Attackers are located on the A side Garage. (A Side Garage) (The Warthogs in this map have been replaced with ghosts disregard what you are now looking at) This base is host to Active Camo, vehicles, and a brute shot. Connecting both of the bases is the Guard House, which has a sniper pit and a bridge over looking the main innards of the map.The loading dock houses a rocket and connects the A Side Garage to the Guard house. The Guardhouse/Loading Dock(Rockets Galore) The Guard House is home to the ever delighting Turret(Use in case of extreme emergencies) which can take out any small vehicles coming from The Garage. The shipyard is not connected to the main buildings, but waiting for you is many surprises not yet told. Pay a little visit to (Papa Burgundy's) Snack Shack located next to the A side garage, for some afternoon delight. Papa Burgundy's Snack Shack and Right A Side In the king of the hill game types the middle of the map is a war zone... The lower middle part of the map (Brutality 101) Main Middle Part Please leave me some feed back, it is much appreciated. Download Thanks Toofgib africanBoi
this map is pretty cool, and the open areas arent too open, and it's in the center so thats pretty good too. the buildings are kinda average, but it still makes that great aesthetics feeling that makes u wana constantly play it, the first picture showing one corner of the map looks like basic forging, maby add more stuff in there. but i really like this map 4.5/5, i think ill dl
very nice everuthing looks and plays great. You should try your hand at an infection map similar to this. Or a V2 for infection. My bridges are my fav btw. GOod Job 5/5
Wow the finishing touches are great, i just test all the game types they seem to be working fine. I noticed that some how it didn't budget glitch so you had to take off some of the aesthetic features but that's OK. If any would like to help us test the map just send me or toofgib a PM
I don't like to be the 1st negitive post but i guess there is always one....anyway it looks like great map and the spawns work pretty well but some of merged stuff isn't really neat and the area where there are just a bunch of boxes seems pointless but i haven't played a game with more than 4 ppl so i can't say much more than that.
Yea i like the aesthetics feeling of the buildings and the weapons are pretty well balanced, not too powerful and not just running around with an AR the whole time The buildings are kinda original, and well forged, but the first picture kinda looks like a messy maze. 4/5
I really like this map. Obviously plenty of long range open areas, but also a lot of CQB combat areas. Your forging is great, most everything looks just fine. Thank you for removing the warthog and replacing it with a ghost, that makes the vehicles much more enjoyable for this map. I also especially like the fence wall bridge w. power weapons, that was a nice touch. Anyway great map 10/10.
Um, that fifth pic looks incredibly familiar. In fact, That skyway is all but identical to one that I made. Anyhoo, the defensive portion of the map looks good, but a flag right out in the open, not so much.
Thanks Thanks for the comments posted so far. We have gotten some ideas on how were going to make a v2 version with the budget glitch(we mistakenly didnt do it with this version), so that remake will definetly be something you'll want to check out.
Looks great, the only thing I would say is to the little area with all the boxes, maybe you should switch out some for some crates, that would give it some diversity.
