This map looks amazing from what I can see I have barley ever seen ascetics like this, The game play looks brilliant, Its a great idea using the switches to help the zombies, This is incredibly original, can the humans fall back to the first room if they want though? 10/10 I love this map.
Well, this is quite the post. First off let me say beautiful map, but wait whats this... great gameplay, thats like a win-win. The doors while at first a little confusing are sheer awesomeness. The flow and difficulty changes that occur throughout the map make for a constantly changing and intriguing game. Probably the best infection map ever, and I mean that. Can't wait to see more from you. Oh and gonna have to agree with the person who wants to submit for feature. ShibbyLib OUT
I'm not going to judge your map based on the pics and descriptions, but from what I can see it looks absolutely amazing. I was thinking of doing something exactly like this, however my laziness has become my ultimate downfall. Either way, I don't think I could have done a better job. I'm ALWAYS willing to come play a few games, so invite me if you're going to start a party. Edit: This map looks like it could easily be feature-worthy, but we'll have to see what the mods think.
First off thanks for all the comments, especially from those who want this featured. Oh and a few detais I might want to add to explain some complaints. 1. If your human and you spawn with blinking shields, this is just lag you still take the same number of hits. 2. The zombies have a respawn trait of temporary invunerability to prevent the spawn camping and the likeliness of humans going to the hub room. That is all for now and thanks for the posts and dls once again. Sarge525
This map is amazing. One of the best infection maps, I've ever laid my eyes on. Defiently better than those maps where you had to run into a house and stay there, and survive. I agree with the other people, this is feature-worthy. Layout: 5/5 Pictures: 5/5
when my party was playing this people who joined later were trapped in the first room and got infected.then we were about 4 people fighting 10 zombies. epic, sure, but we quickly died. maybe u should try to fix that
Well that may be the case, have you considered the fact that the game is not designed to incorporate people who join late.
Heh, funny thing, I was thinking about doing a map using this same concept. Anyway, this is very well done, and the main idea works well with the map and gameplay.
I already DL and played this map. The map is built really well and the balance is good throughout the game until the humans get to the last chamber (usually don't not enough ammo which is good btw) but sometimes my friend would try to follow the humans from the second chamber to the third chamber and would get stuck in there for the rest of the game. Is there anything you think would be acceptable to do prevent that? Or is it just their fault? Great map anyway one of my new favs. 5/5
Well If your friend had noticed and if you had read the post you would know that once a chamber locks platforms will spawn for you to get back up to the teleports. Which will then get you back to the hub room.
Wow...This map is simply amazing 10/5 I loved the whole concept and the third chamber was just astonishing...And this is judging by the pics...Queed O_O
I am a very picky map person, and by that I mean one out of every hundred maps I see I even try out. Half of the ones I try out arn't even good. But there is a rare few that catches my eye, and this one is one of those. I havn't even played it yet, but I can tell this is not an average infection map. Congratulations, I'll expect more in the future.
Damn. This map looks much better than the map I'm making that is very similar to this. I love the final chamber, the merging there is awesome. I can't see any problems with this map other than it may be confusing for the zombies the first time they play. Good job.
Wow this is by far the best infection map i have ever seen. The fact that the difficulty changes is very unique and your forging is flawless. I like the whole idea behind this map and i will definitely DL. 5/5
Well, after multiple play throughs, I feel I can finally give a decent review of this map. While this is my favorite zombie map to date, there are a few grievances, but first to give the reasons why I love it. The game never gets old, because you can change the gametype to any zombie game you feel like and it works, not only does it work but it works well. The only real restriction on what you can play is gravity because of the open roofs here and there. Secondly, the fact that your terrain changes makes each chamber have its own look and feel. So your strategy must change the further you progress. I suppose now it's time for some complaints, however minor they may be. The humans can get untrapped by running through zombie hub, and the ammo reserves in the third and final chamber are a little high, assuming one makes it there. But exclude these ever so minor problems, and this map is flawless. And therefore my 5/5 and feature nomination still stand. Best of Love Shibbylib
The tunnel made me dizzy just looking at it. Therefore, it is clearly a great map and shall be DL'd as soon as I clear my DL list. HOURS OF FUN WITH TRIPPY HALLWAY TO FOLLOW!!
I played on the map and it is by far the best use of switches so far in an Infection map, but not counting Manifest because that was kinda epic. However I did run into some problems when playing with my friends... like when the first chamber dumpster would shoot up into the air... the door would instantly spawn and we could never venture on into the map. I don't know if this is a problem with the map, or if it is just us screwing up. But it has happened every single time we have played and has ruined the fun in this map. 3/5 because either we are playing it wrong, or the map is broken. But very nice idea and great use of switches! Don't take that rating harshly, as it comes from the map being broken.
The map isnt broken, if you had thoroughly read the post then you would know you have to progress through the gate as soon it activates. If this is the case it is more then likely a connection related problem (the host probably left or a migration occurred mid-game). If there was nothing of the sort than check and see if it is just you being unattentive because I know for fact the doors and the times are correct. So to put it bluntly, my maps not broken; you either are lagging or just stupid. P.S. Don't take THIS harshly...
Wow that looks intense. I especially like the diamond shaped hallway. That's very unique, bringing in different layouts. Very cool. 4/5
