    No Mercy
    Based off Left 4 Dead
    By foxfootball30

(You MUST read this if you want to understand how this map works)
Map Description: No Mercy is a map I made that captures of the supense and intensity of the game Left 4 Dead. If you havn't played Left 4 Dead, the objective if to get from one safehouse to another while hordes of zombies are attacking. That is the same goal here as well. In the multiplayer mode of Left 4 Dead (Versus), people play as both zombies and humans. The humans score by how far they make it through the level before dying. I implimented the scoring system here also by making the gametype territories. Throughout the level, there are evenly distibuted territories that the humans try to capture. The zombies must try to ambush or go straight into the humans to stop them. Everybody starts off with a sword, but the humans spawn in the first safehouse with guns and equipment. Once the humans leave the safehouse, they must try to capture all eight territories before the round ends in two minutes. Since the zombies are devastatingly strong, the humans MUST use teamwork to win. Each team has three rounds as the humans to get as many territories and get to the second safehouse as fast as possible. Once a human dies, they are sent to a box placed above the level to watch the other humans suffer. The humans can take two hits from a sword, but they can pick up a healthpack (regenerator) to help gain their health back quicker. There are several side rooms and side paths that contain hidden items such as healthpacks that can be useful to the humans. This description may be confusing to some so if you have any questions, don't be afraid to ask. Finally, on to the pictures.

This is the safehouse where the humans start out in. There are several different weapons and equipment stored here.

This is the way out of the safehouse. Through the fence box, you may be able to see the final territory the humans need to capture.

This is the first place you go to when you leave the safehouse. Watch out for zombie ambushes. In the distance, you can see territory 1.

After capturing territory 1, the humans must travel down this long path with many traps that the zombies may set up with. Territory 2 is in the distance.

After territory 2 is a large open area known as the junkyard. This is an advantage point for the zombies if executed right. There are many places for ambushes, so be extra careful.

After advancing through the junkyard, the humans need to survive some narrow hallways.

I was going to make a similar map like this on ghost town. I really like the place where the humans spawn after they are killed so they can still watch all the action. Very cool map. Gonna Dl it now

wow it does look good, i like all the extra interlocking and merging even where it wasnt necessary. ....btw, how i was wondering why the zombies couldnt capture the territories too can they, or is there a version of territories(i havent made any games with territories so) that has offense and defense?

This looks really good, the asthetics are well done

Umm I can kinda see how this resembles No Mercy, but yea, we all know it can't compare to it. haha if only forge was THAT awesome :)

anyway 4/5 for well balanced play

I really like how you incorporated a territory sysem into a zombie game. The only problem I really have for this map is that you say that this map is based off no mercy, but I don't see any resemblence to that level of L4D. I hope you continue making these types of maps.

The map isn't supposed to be an exact remake of No Mercy, but its supposed to have the same feeling. To LionsNate, theres an option called One-Sided Territories where there is an offence and a defence. I also forgot to mention that you can't jump out of the map with the gametype I provided because it is at 300% gravity.

I see what you have tryed too pull off here, and i would say you pulled it off beter then any one else would try too. Territorys for an infection game/map. Very nice job! I think it well play well, and with the map as good as it is, you are geting a 5/5 from me for orignalty and map design. Very spacey But yet Very crowded and i love that. And the geomerging is a 4/5 from me. Very nice in all and keep forging!

Qued for DL! :) The gameplay looks pretty radical and the map is very well built. The only thing is that fence box part isn't actually yours, is it? Because I've noticed adleast 5 different maps with that fence box in the back side of foundry in the exact spot. You should adleast give some credit to the guy who made that. Other then that, great map 4/5.

The map looks very nice. I looks like it has a lot of the same feel that you get when you play L4D. My only suggestion would be that instead of making a box for killed humans, you should just give them one life. But on the other hand, it is a cool spot to spectate. Overall it looks like 4/5.

i made a map like no mercy infact its my newest map. But mine is for infection and yours is for territories which i think is a really good idea the map looks really nice and has great geo merging i give it a 4/5.

see if he gave the humans one life than the zombies only have one life to

Good merging and lovely geo-merging I love the fence box geo-merged into the human spawn the territories kinda ruins the "Feel" of zombies I think though, Infection would be funner but thats just me. Safe house is good but you should of put all the weapons on a table of some sort it would resemble L4D alot more, the map doesent remind me of any of the L4D maps actaully.
    4.5/5
