Highway ß was previously known as The Arch V2 over a month ago. I then subdued hours of test playing in order to give this map it's potential. The Arch V2 thread can be found here as proof of map ownership. Highway ß is a map with an arching centre structure. Some people who helped to test this have called it the rainbow bridge. This structure tends to be where the main bulk of the battles are. I tried to give this map solid gameplay which is both fun and competitive. This map can be played with all standard symmetrical gametypes excluding Infection. This map best suits matches for Team Doubles. A highly recommended matchtype would be Team King on Highway ß due to the maps obvious locations for the hill points and the accessibility to them. Weapons on map: Sniper Rifle x 2 Gravity Hammer x 1 Battle Rifle x 4 Covenant Carbine x 4 Assault Rifle x 4 Mauler x 1 Plasma Rifle x 2 SMG x 2 Spiker x 4 Plasma Pistol x 2 Equipment on map: Regenerator x 1 Overshield x 1 Active Camo x 1 A combination of Frag, Plasma and Spike grenades have been suitably placed on this map. What's new since The Arch V2: The whole side wall structure has been re-built. The structure is now geo-merged and is more aesthetically pleasing. Cover has been added to the hallway behind the sidewall structure. The Rocket Launcher has been replaced with the Active Camo. Spawn Areas have been added to all of the compatible gametypes. Everything looks greatly interlocked, and it is nice that the video shows where the hill spots are but you could've just put "KOTH & Territories" It would be nice if you also put a gameplay video too. I see that there a a few weapons scattered around but you really don't have a list of them and their respawns [10, 20, 180, ect.] and such. Is the neutral assault spawn where the oddball spawns too? And the "all gametypes but infection" thing can be fixed, just put human spawns scattered around or at the two main bases and the zombie spawn maybe under the under arch or something like that. As for the structure of the map, the two "mini bases" made out of dumpsters, they feel like eh.. epitah, and the little wrap around areas in two of the wings. The arch, could maybe use like.. two fence-wall windows half way up the sides so you aren't COMPLETELY exposed when doing whatever you are doing up there. Maybe at OS spawn you could make an arch that man-cannons you up on to the arch or something, to add another way to get up and flank your enemies and such, like guardian, there is 3 or four ways to get to the center and at least 2 ways to get anywhere. As I was saying, A weapons list would be nice, but overall the post clearly shows most of the map, and a gameplay video would be nice
Aw, I had to get off when you did the game for the screenshots. Sadface. The map is beautiful and plays well. I like the openness of the map as a whole. Risk and reward....Mr. Cake doesn't throw cover all over the place like some people do, which is a very good thing, especially for BR start games (i'd recommend that, myself). Recon? Where?

OO i see recon in the last pic..epic.. The map looks amazing and seems like itd play nicely.. I give 'er a 5, and a dl. I also love how the center is, like an upper arch and a dipping arch under it. win.
For the recon thing, Mini Waz received Recon. I believe it was for a chain of Halo videos where a lot of unlucky things happen. I've seen it on youtube. The map itself looks very nice, the interlocking is very clean. I would like to see some kind of cover at the top, consider you can litterly get someone there from every angle. I shall expand my review after playing on it.
This map looks amazing. Your interlocking is smooth, merging is clean, weapon placement looks balanced. I like how the bridge is going over the middle of the map, that would make a good game of oddball, like someone said earlier. I could also see this being modified for conquest. 5/5 and DL
I see some vast improvement on this since The Arch. I love the idea of that so called 'Rainbow Bridge', it looks very nice. Some complaints though: - Remove either the OS or Camo. (Don't get mad, just my opinion.) - Create a Sniper Tower because the Sniper location does not really meet my standards, and it would be better. Great job man. Downloaded.
