Hi, im a new member who has a couple questions for anyone who is willing to answer.

First off, im wondering if you have to be good at making maps to get promoted. Im pretty good, but I dont want to get my mapped closed or somethin.

Second, Im wondering about some of the ForgeHub staff. I resently started a thread in the customer service asking about the rank system. When I whent back to it later, several comments were left by staff claiming that my question wasnt important. He even criticized my spelling when I tried to thank the person who gave me the info on the ranks. I didnt know why, wasnt it a legitiment question? I would post this on customer service, but im afraid it will get locked. :(

No, you don't. To become Premium, you must have two featured maps, but there's the community equivalent of Loyal. You don't need to make any maps at all to get Loyal, just be a cool guy and helpful in the community, and follow rules.

None of them were staff until the last two. You can tell staff from the colors of Red, Orange, Green, Blue, and Yellow. We sometimes put in a little silly message before we lock (needs more interlocking, locked), or such. Don't take it too seriously.

http://www.forgehub.com/forum/announcements/3093-member-ranks.html <- that is the thread you were looking for. It will describe each rank and who holds them. :)

Welcome to FH and don't worry, they wouldn't have locked the thread until after your question was answered.
