Saw In Him is an Infection map with breakable floors and closeable doors. This is my first Infection map which is not an Infection variant on one of my previous maps. I don't really like how the majority of the Infection maps from the Halo 3 community play and so i decided to make this one different. I made this map different by making it very interesting and fun to play on. There are lots of things on the map that you can interact with. I recommend that you do not go over the 10 player max adivisory as gameplay tends to suffer. Saying that, it is built to be able to play with 16 players. The video shows how all of the mechanisms work, it is highly recommended that you watch the video. http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=eTn8fVvicDA&feature=channel_page Screenshots Main Area Overview 1 Main Area Overview 2 Human Spawn Area Upper Level Human Spawn Area Lower Level Zombie Spawn Area View From Zombie Spawn Area Room 1 Room 1 Showing Closeable Doors Closeable Door Mechanism External View Room 2 View From Back Wall Of Room 2 Room 2 Closeable Door Mechanism External View Zombie Attack Mechanism On Room 2 Zombie Attck Mechanism On Room 2 External View Sniper Balcony Actions Shots Please ensure that if you download this map, then download the gametype to go with it. Wow, cool map. Looks really awesome, especally the pallet part. I might DL it, but it looks like a great map from the screens. Good job, hope you make more cool maps like this!
This looks cool. I like how you included the different gameplay mechanics in it. However, I feel as if the different rooms/areas were too disconnected to really have an impact on each other, so much that it almost reminded me of Township. I believe that it would be better if you made the different areas into a linear path, with a limited ammo supply in each, to force the humans to move on. I'm sorry if this doesn't really fit your gametype or how you want the map to play like, but this is just how I would envision a better version of this. Something like having them spawn in some open area, then partway through, they would enter the pallet room, with the zombies below them somehow (maybe another switch?), having them move through the map in a path, not like how it currently is. But that's just an example.
