Hey guys. This is messed up. For the past 3 hours, I've been trying to recover my Xbox Live account. It keeps returning that my password does not match my username. I've tried the "Forgot My Password" steps, called Xbox Live support, and I'm not sure what else to do. The only thing is I can recall is that the previous night, there was a kid on Halo who kept bragging that his friend could hack accounts. Of course, as this is commonly said, and, as we had been playing competitivly for a while (not to mention all of the insults that spewed from his mic), I mocked him about it. Now, I can't access my account. The auto sign-in services still work, it's just when I have to log into a site like Bungie.net or Xbox.com. Is there another number I can call or something directly to reach the account services or something? Thanks. -Skill EDIT: Apparently now (according to my MyGamerTag.net signature),for some reason my game privacy settings are enabled. What the heck is going on?!
Call Xbox Live Support again, it sounds like hacked. Don't know how, though, I thought it was impossible now that Microsoft apparently disabled being able to see passwords. Also, do recover password, and remember to put in your email, not your gamertag, as the log in name.
Alright, I'm calling them back right now. Apparently the 1 hour away was my Xbox being left on -_-. Sorry. And lolz, the hold music is the Halo 3 Theme Mjolnir mix. EDIT: Well, I think I'm getting somewhere (kinda feel stupid making this thread now =/). A mod can lock it now I suppose.
Dont feel silly. Its common and the people who do it are bastards. I suppose though if it were me I'd cancel my credit card and get a new account. No point seeking justice over xbox live. Microsoft will have some paki saying what? sorry? i do-not understand?
