Whats your opinion on this game as far as the demo goes? I think this was a step backwards for the battlefront series and should have just went towards Star wars Battlefront 3 because 2 was great even compared to today's games. I do appreciate the need for teamwork to win though. If you don't have mages, rangers will destory everyone. No warrior - no protection from a assasin or ent/troll. No assasin, nothing is stopping that ent or troll. And no ranger means that ent/troll isn't going to stop and neither are the warriors.
I got it yesterday, returning it tomorrow. It's a good game, but it's certainly a rent. It's great for achievements
Yeah, I kinda liked ST:BF2 more. Its too damn hard. I say my average life is about 30 secs, and about 10-20 secs are spent traveling. Archers are super annoying, plus when ever you're hit to the ground, you're basically prison meat. Pandemic needs to fix these problems. Oh yeah, playing with the rogue class is pointless as well. Once you missed your stealth attack, you're a dead man! I hope the game will be different.
I wrote up a huge review for it, which I'll just summarize here to save space: I think every class is equally cheap. Scouts have instakills, mages have the healing and homing lightning, archers have the stupid everything, warriors can annihilate you in a few seconds. But the hobbit archers are super cheap, gandalf is a stupid walking one-hit killer, and the orc mages are fat. Also, why come deadly water?
Yeah the water is annoying especially when your crossing the 1 bridge to a point and get knocked off and die. In the movie ent's could tackle water waves but die from a step in a river.
