Can someone please help me with a forging problem, it has been bothering me for some time and I don't know what caused it or how to fix it.

All of my maps in the last few months have had the same serious problem. Everytime I create a map and save it something happens so that when i open it the next time to continue my work everything is slightly moved. Every imovable object will be scewed and turned in random directions. The movements are slight but extremely noticable. It seems to affect interlocked objects more but is not limited to just them. With this problem around it is impossible for me to do anything constructive in forge

Does anyone know what is wrong???

Try forging in Local rather than invite only. Sometimes being connected causes lag even when you are by your self.

Also Boxes, bridges and a few other items don't like to stay put when on their side no matter what you do. Even geo-merging them slightly or floating them doesn't fix it all the time.

There was a point a few weeks ago when xbox live was not working for me and I was forced to play on local with no connection what-so-ever. Needless to say this was a time when I wanted to forge the most but was unable to because even being on local could not solve the problem.

    Thanks anyways though.

Hmm... well if your Halo 3 disc is scratched up a fair bit, that could be the problem. A Halo 3 scratch disc is known to cause this problem sometimes. So you should probably check your disc to see how clean it is.

When you say everything is slightly moved, do you mean "everything" or just a few objects? Are you forging with other people in the game? Also you may be experiencing the teardrop method accidently. If your using the right trigger to rotate something and save it wihout releasing the object, you might end up teardropping the item on accident.
And lastly, if it is as bad as you say it is, Forge gremlins are probably the cause.

When I say "everything" I meant every imovable object, the other things might be affected but I have not noticed. I am always forging by myself ( I dont trust any of my current friends to make a good map lol ). I am positive this is not a teardrop problem. And it is worse than I described, my brain just could not think of a better way to describe it at the time (2am)...What are forge gremlins???
