I dont fully understand Conquest, its territories that dont lock right? So can these territories be taken back kind of like Domination in COD4? Also if this is the case, is it possiable to have spawns located near territories to spawn only the team that controls the territory? For example if one team only has one terriotry and its on the oppisite side of the map from where they originally spanwed can i have the spawns spawn them close to their only territory. Thanks
I wouldn't call it a rule, more like a guideline. This is traditionally what occurs in Conquest maps.
Sorry to keep bothering you I am terriably new to this type of game variant. So how are points scored if once you locked it down, the team can take it back? How many you hold at the end of the round? Or is it points based on how long you hold it?
It is based on how many you have at the end of the round. Basically, you continue fighting for them until the round is over. I believe the rounds are 3 and a half minutes long.

Starting at the start point isn't a guideline.. it is normally preffered to setup spawns so that you can spawn closer to the center (your nearest controlled territory). Many people complain about having to walk all that way, so if you know your spawn system then do it that way. I learned this way back when we made The Cellars...
oh teh noes he destroyed my logicz I just thought that was the normal way because every conquest map I have played besides The Cellars was set up that way.
lol... nah most people like to save time when playing a game like conquest... if you can setup your map to spawn closer to the center then go for it... Unless of course it defeats your whole maps logic, then NVM!!! lol... Logicz Terminated!!!
