Wait, so your telling me the demo will drop by this February? Do you any specific date on when it'll come out? That sounds freaking ridiculous to me. There's no need for a "demo" when the game comes out a month afterwards (depending on what specific date it comes out on).
demo - february 5th game - february 28th you clearly didnt bother reading the link. additionally, the reason a demo is available is to give potential buyers the ability to play the game first hand before they slap down $60-90 on something. i personally LIKE demos.
Well you never talked about a demo besides the title of your thread so I automatically assumed you were never gonna talk about it, and didn't bother clicking the link either. But demos I think, should be brought out earlier than a couple of weeks before the game releases. Just a couple of weeks isn't long enough in my opinion. Especially considering it's about Halo, everyone is so hyped up about it; people have been probably wanting to have played this by now. Also, depending on what side of the world your on I heard, Halo Wars comes out March 3, 2009 last time I checked. Although it was originally set at Feb. 28.
I'm going to download this as soon as it comes out, I'm really torn on whether or not to buy Halo Wars at the moment.
you are so ill informed it sickens me. first off, its not MY thread. i didnt make the original post. second off, the link he provided would answer EVERY question you asked if you would've bothered to click on it. Halo Wars was originally set to come out on February 2nd, then was moved to March 3rd. The link he provided clearly stated that the demo comes out on the 5th, and THE RELEASE DATE WAS MOVED FORWARD from March 3rd to February 28th. Anything else i can spoon feed you?
well hate to burst everyone's bubble but HBO brings bad news .... Halo Wars US Release: It's March After All apparently even Major Nelson was ill informed ..... oh well back to March 3rd it is. But we still get that Demo on the 5th of Feb.
well everyone does relaize that the maps aren't on a disc in the game, you just get a code to download them. We could very well be waiting awhile to get them, only MS knows when we get them.
Okay dumb ass either way you have to get the actual ****ing game to get the maps. The codes inside the case right? And you get the case and everything in side it when you buy the game!!!!! Now I know this is complicated for stupid people but stick with me: You have to wait for the game to get the maps from the ****ING game. /rant

Even Major Nelson had been informed the release date was bumped up, however the next day it was cited as being false and corrected (look a few posts down): / And take a chill pill "dumbass" Just because you have to wait for the game to get the code for the maps doesn't mean that the maps will be available for download as soon as you have it in hand .... if you can't speak without calling someone stupid, then stfu.
Websites selling the game word the unlock as " 3 Halo Multiplayer maps ". If you only got codes to unlock them later (which would be completely useless) then it would definately be worded differently.
I think that it states that because noone knows how the maps are actually acquired (digitally or by disc) However pictures of the actual LE pack-in have been released by microsoft and unless the maps are on the actual game disc, it must be a code for digital download.
