Zombie Nazis is like horde mode in Gears 2. Hopefully, Halo 3 ODST will incorporate a similar mode for the covenant or the flood. Hopefully...

To have a wave system, you could make the zombies normal traits be for the first wave, set respawn settings for the second wave, and use power ups for however many waves after that.

Also, you could make it so that zombies spawn in a separated room (also where they would pick up the power ups) and have it made so that there is a row of teleporters that they use to exit the room. Let's say there are three teleporters. The first two are blocked, letting the zombies go through them to reach the third teleporter, letting them out far away from the human base. After a certain amount of time, the second teleporter is unblocked, so they go through the first teleporter to reach the second, letting them out in the middle area of the map, then, a time after that, the first teleporter is unblocked, letting them out near the human base. This could be used to enhance the wave effect in intervals between those of the power ups.

    Example waves: normal traits - respawn traits - tele 1 - custom power up - tele 2 - invisibility (stealth zombie) - tele 3 - overshield... (That's 8 waves)

Hope these help you, as I will probably be using them in the next infection map I make.

I have an idea for the window. You could rest a pallet on a tele that the zombies havebto destroy. Then they can go through the sender node just outside the window.

I will TRY and make this. I will just learn the ways of the switches. Let start out the Humans with plasma pistols. And there are weapons on the walls. They don't respawn( unless we can figure out some sort of currency way). To open help room, lets say the survivors have to give up something to activate the switch? There will also be an upstairs. I dont know yet give me time to think.

Ok, I've thought about this kind of map for quite some time now, and I realized a possible way to make the breakable barriers for the zombies to get through. You would have to use roadblocks, held by weapon holders to keep in place. Why not pallets? Because you can't shoot through them. The zombies need to be able to do less damage so it takes several hits to destroy the barriers bloack off the windows to get in. Since you can't repair barriers in Halo... you would just have to set the roadblocks to a 10 or 20 second respawn time. Also, humans need to have a lowered damage resistance, on account of the zombies lowered damage modifier.

Another thing about using this type of blockade is that it would only work for 8 barriers, due to the fact that there are 8 weapon holders only. Their may be other ways to hold them but I can't think of another off the top of my head right now.

BTW, has anyone come up with a way to imitate the opening of new areas by clearing the debree or opening the door yet? (Sorry if I missed any previous posts, I kinda skipped to the last page.)

Yeah, but what else could you do to change the wave? You can't make the zombies be able to pick up weapons and equipment... that would ruin everything.

If you wanted to make them spawn in waves you could give the zombies a synchronized spawn so they all spawn at once.

well, maybe have them all spawn only after all of them are dead, then repeat.

but what weapons to give them? guns wouldnt work, but energy swords then they can lunge. if they are going really slow with half damage perhaps.

The lunge range is quite small, and any other weapon would seem odd. Shotguns would work, but in the movies, don't the humans use shotguns against the zombies? Gravity Hammer would make putting up the barricades pretty useless so it lose it's authenticity.

Shotguns to start off with is not accurate with **** Zombies. (movies?) There should be starting magnums, that's it. All other weapons that the humans can obtain must be picked up.

I think I know how I can do this kind of map as well, but I think I may be able to pull this game off using a different map other than foundry. It'll be more authentic that way, since Foundry has no real natural environment in it at all. For a classic style **** Zombies game, I see four possible maps: Avalanche, Ghost Town, Last Resort, and Standoff.

I'm also considering making a remixed **** Zombie game on Standoff, with two bases to defend and split up humans. The same idea may also work on Avalanche, since it also has two bases that humans can occupy.
