    Lanky Frank's
    Guide To UN-Bumpy Bridges

As the title states, many new map's have the classic bumpy bridges that send you bouncing into the air as you walk on them.:embarassed: This guide will show you how to sink bridges and walls into the boxes creating flawless platforms and walkways in four easy steps!
Note: The same method can be used for fence walls!

    1. Choose where your walkway is going to go [IMG]
    2. Here's an example of an un-sunk bridge and the "bump" [IMG][IMG]
    3. Set the boxes to place at start no, then stack 2 dumpsters on either side of where your object will sit. [IMG][IMG]
    4. Set the object on top and force spawn the boxes [IMG]
And there you have it, a perfectly sunk bridge with no gameplay degrading bump. [IMG]

    Regular Walls
On a side note the same effect can be accomplished for regular walls with dumpsters by stacking one dumpster on its side and the other straight up.

    The dumpsters stacked

    Another Method For Geomerged Boxes

This method is a more difficult but quicker way to sink bridges into oddly heighted boxes.

    1. Place your bridge where you want it to sit
    2. Set the boxes it's on to place at start "no"
    3. Create another bridge and hold it directly underneath the original bridge
    4. Without letting go, bring up the start menu, save as new map.
    5. Without leaving the menu, quit the game
    6. Restart the game on the newly saved level
    7. Start New Round
    8. Force Spawn the boxes
    9. Change them to place at start "yes"
    10. Delete the un-sunk bridge
    GOOD FORGING!

Thats a decent method, however, all my boxes will be merged in all my maps, so its worthless to me.
    Good guide though.

That is a very good technique, but I assume it only works with bridges that are made out of bridges, right?

theres a differant (and easier,IMO) put a bridge on the boxes as usual.now set the boxes not to spawn at start.now save and quit a bridge unde it in the exact position as the other.

In your guide, you should change this:"Create another bridge and hold it where you want it" to this: "Create another bridge and hold it directly underneath the original bridge"

Thanks for the method with the walls like that, i had to save and end all of the time. But the bridge method is practicly just turning the bridge upside down, its not the biggest differense, but good jobzorz!

Or, you could just flip the boxes on their sides, its alot easier.

Not really easier, you have to put boxes inside of other objects, sometimes you don't have enough room, my methods always work no matter the space. The 2 methods i posted are way more accurate and seem to come out better.

BTW: There are many methods out there, i only posted 2

Nice find; with the stacked dumpsters' height thing. I wondered how they got it so perfect on all the featured competetive maps. The other guys' idea is good, too, but I prefer 'Round Over' techniques to 'Save & Quit' techniques, personally.
