    Description:

    Heat Stroke V2 is a medium sized map, that has 2 bases, and a middle structure in the center of the map. It supports symmetrical game play and is recommended. This map took me about 5 hours to make. The first version was a complete disaster in my opinion it was way too open and it was a late night and I just wanted to get it over with and post it already so here is V2 I added more cover and it is not as open.

    WOW! the first pic shocked me. This map is very impressive great prefect interlocking. And its completely symmetrical which is very difficult to accomplish. Great use of movable and immovable objects, my only concern is that during large games the amount of geomerging and interlocking will decrease frame-rate and lag up the game considerably. Besides that this Could very-well become a MLG approved map. I also noticed that you didn't sink all bridges, i would fix that. It's queued for DL tomorrow when i play.

    This REALLLY looks like MLG Amplified... At first i thought it was a re-make, but nope.

    Great job on the map, it has a nice layout. But in the middle structure, it looks like those holes can affect gameplay, as in you shoot somone while running backwards along the ramp, then fall into the hle, then get nade spammed... Also you might want to add to the bases, the seem pretty sleek.

    Other than that, it looks like a really good map! you have nice interl0x! Ill give it a 3/5.

    lolwut?! I never heard of that... My map I am making does not lag, too. (And I dont think this here is foe 8v8 so forget about this)

    I like your interlocking and the overall map structure, but I think those boxes you have to jump up (e.g. first picture, front) will slow down the gameplay. But all in all, it looks like a great map.


    And by the way... Did you geomerge the box into the crane or did you take it from another map?

    refering to the firstpic

    -Why didin't you interlock those two bridges on the far left ? All the other bridges you have placed on the map are all good except for those 2 0_0 it kinda troubles me.

    Wow v2 showed up faster than I expected, nice job on that, you really have been working.

    Ok, you have excellent interlocking throughout this whole map its very obvious and your forging skills are way above average but I see to parallel bridges that aren't interlocked and other bridges in the map are. I dont understand why you did that.

    The only other thing that bothers me is the fact that the corners are somewhat empty and boring. That is basically my favorite part of a map to play in, and its just plain foundry. I know this could be your intention,but its just my opinion.

    Other than that The gameplay was amazing I only had a chance to test with 2v2 but still it turned out better than I thought.

    By the way the two parallel merged cranes are absolutely beautiful for this map. I think they fit very well and add a very nice touch of aesthetic. Nice job

    I give it a A ( 92% )

    Edit: I forgot to mentioned that I played this map like three or four hours ago, that is about 4:30 my time I believe that I played. lol Your map was worth staying up for

    Nice map. Your forgeing is very nice everything is smoothed and interlocked except a few bridges. One look and you already had my down load. Your map is really all you can expect (not hope for) from a forged map you implemented all the forging techniques in the book very well. I'll rate after I get a match played on it but It will be at least a 9/10
