The Prototype website has posted a countdown for something not Something. Link For those of you who don't know what it is, it is an open world game where you take control of Alex Mercer. You have lost all of your memories, (don't ask how you know your name) and the you've been turned into some sort of Bio-Weapon. The City is under attack by people who've been infected a by something, presumably what you have. The Army and a Top Secret Army called the Black Watch, come in to eradicate you and the infection. You must Reach the higher ups of the Military and find out what happened to you. This would be a problem if your character wasn't bad ass. He can shape shift his body into weapons like armored shields and blades. He can absorb people and gain their memories their skills, their appearance, and Bio-mass. Their skills lets Alex to drive tanks, fly helicopters, and whatever else they can do. Their appearance (depending on the person) can let him infiltrate bases, blend in with crowds, order airstrikes and so on. Bio-mass gives Alex new powers to fight with. His abilities range from anything from Claws, Blades, Full Body Armor, Run up walls, Death Tendrils, Ground Spikes, Heat Vision, Tracker Vision and other things along those lines. It was set for next year because of a multiplayer aspect but they removed it added Coop and it is going to be out a lot sooner. Time for pics
It isn't coming out in 6 days, are you kidding me? Get informed before you post something like that. The countdown for Bungie's new game wasn't the release date, so don't make assumptions. Activision would actually say when it was being released. While they MAY announce the release date at the event that occurs in the next 6 days, it isn't being released then. I think the game looks epic. Definitely a buy.
Despite the OP's lack of knowledge, I have a feeling this will be one of those games that seems like a really cool idea and will be a fun demo to play but will get old fast. A game with no decent online play sinks fast, how would a game like this have any online play at all? EDIT: The countdown timer seems to be counting down to CES

Looks like a cool game. I might get it, but there's a bigger chance that I won't unless somehow I'm bored of all the games that I have now by then.

The website has been active for a long time, like 4 months now. I've been to it before but now all I can access is that timer.

OMG, I seen this game last year in some kinda of game expo. It looked so COOL. It was like a combination of 2 marvel games. The hulk and spider-man. The idea of making a super-human with super strength speed and agility in a sandbox style game is brilliant! This game looks like causing destruction will be a lot more fun than how the hulk did it...
