UNSC Freighter

    Okay ForgeHub, I read everything I needed to so I think I'm ready to post my first map.

    This is the UNSC Freighter Odyssey.

    This map is made for my one-size-fits-all Zombies gametype. The background story is that the Odyssey was disabled by Flood and forced to land on Avalanche. Workers inside the ship have to defend themselves from the zombies.

    The zombies spawn out side the ship and must come up through the cargo bay by jumping on top of the warthog or by a grav lift.

    The ship has Six rooms inside of it: the bridge, upper deck, bay(pictured above), engine room, left hall, and the right hall. The halls aren't very interesting, they're basically just extra places to hide. The engine room makes a very effective place to surprise zombies by using the shotgun inside to kill them before they can lunge you with their swords.

    I don't have a pic of the bridge, but inside there is a teleporter that takes you to the upper deck where a rocket launcher spawns. That's about all I have to post of the map. Please leave all the comments you want!

    i'm guessing it's a little bigger than the overview pic of it looked like to me (well couldn't see it all so that makes since) eh well it's cool how you have 6 whole rooms inside of it including the bridge, sounds big enough for zombies to me. it's cool how you've got the cargo bay set up, si si me gusta! (yes that's spanish) i like the map, seems pretty good. if maybe you want some extra advice, well i might suggest blocking off a little perimeter around the map so that humans don't get off the ship and go hide on the rest of the map and cause the rounds to be longer if the zombies don't have a wave point on the guy, of course that's if u wanna stop ppl from doing that. just an idea if it sounds good to you ok, but nice map, i like it :D
    edit: then again, i was thinking, it might be fun to roam the map in the warthog as long as zombies stand a chance. well whatever u think, it's fine as it is...but the tank? :OOOOOOO idk if zombies could take down a tank unless u give em grav hammer or instant kill! well im sure u can figure it out, but hey just throwing that out there.

    It looks good 4/5 until I dl and play. Oh, an how do you put a dl link on map?

    Welcome to FH, and great first post, might I add.

    It looks like you've got a fairly decent structure there. There's nice interlocking and it seems to be fairly symmetrical.

    One great thing about this is that it is playable, even if only for infection. Believe me. I know how difficult it can be to make a structure that looks like one specific object on the outside, yet look like a halo map on the inside.

    One issue, however, is the originality. If you'll look around the aesthetics section a bit, you'll probably notice that a great majority of everything here is a ship of somesort on Avalanche. No worries, you've definitely got talent for aesthetics, but it is simply not the first of it's kind.

    Altogether, I would give it a 4/5 and I will be downloading. Nice job.

    The ship looks very small in the overview... Is all of it showing?

    Looks great and I'll definitely try it, but considering the size of the ship I really think you could have used more of the other parts and not used the clunky and cheap-looking containers.

    It is a very small ship, so I probably will add barriers to keep people from escaping.

    Your post doesn't make any sense... Crusadermike was the one who was talking about people escaping. I was just saying it would be nice if you had made the ship out of different materials.

    And home, I don't think he's going to listen to you telling him his interlocking is bad if you can't even capitalize or use apostrophes.
