I recently made an infection mini-game called Splat. You've probably never heard of it so let me explain it. Zombies drive ghosts and try to splatter humans, and the humans use plasma pistols powerdrainers flares and jumping to try not to get splattered. Someone posted in the forum about a version with rockets. I think this is a great idea but I want to see if anyone else likes it or has another idea for Splat. If I make it with rockets, the ghosts will be indestructable and the zombies invulnerable as usual, but everyone will no longer be able to pickup the equiptment scattered around. You can click the link to the map in my signature to see get an idea how the map is made and post any other ideas you think would work.
i think its a good idea, maybe make it the original way, and then add where if you pick up rockets, then you cant get equipment, but you still have that choice not to use rockets and to use equipment. or is that what you meant lol
You cant assassinate them when they are in the ghost but if you somehow get them out of the ghost you can, and I've seen it happen For the gametype forum idea, most maps should already have the gametype with them, and forge hub is more for maps, but I think I saw a topic somewhere where you can post gametype Toochie, there is no way I can force people to not be able to use equiptment when they use rockets, but I could give it to the last man standing. Also, I was thinking of a grav ham version. The more options the better
Rockets were fun put it got a little too chaotic because of all the ghosts so close together. Enemies close together + rockets = hell! Anyways, I dont think you should worry about it too much because anyone can just change that at anytime they choose. Plus, some people may not like chaotic games lol but some do!
oneNonly, no they can't because their damage is turned to zero so shooting won't hurt them, only splatters. Maxwell, I knew it would be crazy chaotic, but I want to give downloaders options for which gametype suits them best.
Why not try grenades? The humans would have one hell of a time sticking the ghosts, it would be very CHAOTIC lol, like you said.
There is actually a ring of plasma grenades in the middle of the arena, but to get them you ate in the wide open. But that sounds like a good idea if I give them regenerating grenades and took away the plasma pistols and equiptment. I think I'll add that idea in the poll
