I try to improve on my Halo3 screens as I go. I will add on more screens later as they come along. Please note that some are old and already deleted from BNet. Comments are welcome, insults are acceptable. Duck and cover from that tank Toxic Spade. Either a very lucky person, or a really bad driver Close call to that Scarab gun no name Cloaked defender Unsuccessful self-sacrifice
Thanks. I try to get ones that have a "Wow, that's pretty cool" or "Haha! OMG, I can't believe that that actually happened" feel. I have some more screens here "Gas is on the right, brakes on the left. Got it?" no name Humans and Elites don't quite trust each other just yet At least they're shooting in the right direction When stupidity meets irony: Stationary 'Hog vs stealthy Spartan laser "My ball" Eyeing the horizon
That's quite alright. I had no real intent of showing any skill or speciality shots*, just ones where people can look at them and say what they want about them. I like it better doing so here than on BNet for the screenshot noobs getting on my ass about how they want me to "quit with the bad screenshots", when all I see is them either TBagging a corpse or a trying to nut-stick someone. In truth, there is nothing speicall about them, aside from the fact that they're just there. Hopes this helps explain an answer to your question. *IN reference, skill/speciality shots are ones that are staged and/or that are 10x better than mine (which there are plenty) and that theose who took the shots know it. I just put mine up for general viewing purposes.
Seeing there not her for interest, my favorite one is probably the first one. I'm still debating to myself where that is taking place, care to tell?
Well I did like seeing your screenshots with your funny captions. It adds some entertainment. Without your captions the snaps wouldn't have meant anything (in my opinion)
I suppose you can the first one an advertisment. That was taken from a trial-game test film of Toxic Spade's Castlanche Thank you. And yes, sometimes adding literacy does help. They say that eevery picture is worth 1000 words. I just put the ones that were necessary. I feel that the Grunts of Halo3 need at least some tribute to attest to their greatness within the game, so I came up with a few screens of them. Being a Grunt sucks. Especially if it's your first day on the job. Someone's either confused, stupid, angry, or all of the above.
I'm going to be on later, so I will try. I had a fun campaign last night as well, which should help with the up and coming screens. I aslo see that you are working on a map. Is it alright if I take a look at it or some films of it?
sure bro... im not yet dont.. Im still modifying. My first map... . Im going on a vacation to Chicago Tommorrow, so I wont be on for a week or 2.
Another Grunt screen for those to laugh at. It's not the fact that one of their own was just blasted into oblivion, it's the realization that it's Open Season
I got more! This is what those blasted motion trackers are for "I think I know what's wrong with your engine" This is Sparta? I thought this was The Pit.
The last picture of your first post in this thread i believe is the best out of all of them. I made it my background temporary just to see what it would look like but the quality got all jacked up Also the one with the warthog jumping off the cliff on avalanche is pretty funny as well. Nice picture taking, I can see your not the type that would set the picture up yourself, you kind of go back through campaign and matchmaking to see what kind of action shots you can take
I still have it on my BNet profile. I find that Photobucket doesn't quite help with backgrounds as much as straight source downloading. So if you want it still here's that link Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details And no, I don't set up 96% of my screenshots. The other 4% I do.(The only "Gun Down" one) In my opinion, screenshots shouoldn't be about how cool of a pose you can strike and how well you can make it look even with great timing skills. I think they should be about how much action, comedy, or drama you can fit into the picture. And thank you. I do realize that I set myself short with the MM and Campaign shots, but I feel that they make up some of the better screens.
