Great guide Novak, really well-put together. Id like to see some more on the Brute Shot however, and its effectiveness against vehicles. I'm a very firm believer that its the best all-around tool of destruction in Halo 3. From short range to mid, jumping, and fending vehicles, its always useful. Do you have plans on expanding the gametype section to team objective at all?
Eventually I plan to have every gametype/map combination for every playlist... it'll take awhile, but I'm working like an hour a day on it so I"ll get everything eventually. I'll probably do Lone Wolves next, then Objective, so it should be up within a few days. I also thought I mentioned the anti-ghost powers the Brute Shot has, but I guess I didn't. Thanks for reminding me, I'll add some more stuff to it. I love Brute Shoting people in Warthogs, I can't believe I didn't mention it, haha. I actually made a sig for it, you can use it too if you want. My gamertag is IVovaK, but it's silver right now, and I haven't really been playing much lately cause of that. I'm hoping to renew it after Christmas, so we can play then if you want.
I have a lot of tidbits for your guide. I tested your brute shot conclusions and have some info. No, it can't kill warthogs in 1 round of dead-on bullets unless every single one hit the driver. It will rarely kill infantry in 3 shots to the head and normally ends up taking 4 no matter where the shots land. It also does not matter if it is a direct hit or not, the damage is done by the explosion not by impact. You might have forgot but the Gravity Hammer and the Mauler are both brute weapons and have the added damage (have you seen those huge spikes on the both of 'em?). You may want to add that charging up the spartan laser automatically makes you show up on radar and should not be used when sneaking around. Also can I have that signature for your guide soon? You should make a whole new section called the "Brute Beatdown". This should address the fact that brute weapons deal higher damage when meleeing. If this is done delete the part of the bruteshot section which has that info and replace it this has a Brute Beatdown and place a link to the brute beatdown section. You also have a typo, first paragraph last sentence in the Brute Shot section.

.....You can't give rep anymore crazy lady! Oh and you might want to put something on the ricochet of certain weapons. Such as spikers and sniper rifles. Oh, and it took him 3 months, but he's still editing it now and then.
Wow, immense guide. You forgot the Plasma Pistol and the Sword, though. I guess those weapons speak for themselves, though (like the AR (?)). Some weapons don't spawn again until they run out of ammo. I think the Sniper Rifle and the Shotgun are weapons like these. Other weapons just need to be picked up twice to respawn. Others only need to be picked up once. That's a bit of a spanner in the works...
Almost done with everything for the Doubles guide. I'll start working on the Lone Wolves/Objective after that. If there's anything anyone wants me to add feel free to share, I'll keep adding stuff to this as long as I have ideas.
"walks outside" ahhh havn't seen light in so long. jk, but that was really long but very interesting. i knew most of it (except for the doubles stuff) but it was still interesting.
This has actually taken me like 6 months, haha. There have been a lot of times I've felt like that though, looking at this I honestly can't believe I wrote all of it.
