After breaking down and deciding to come her with my maps (which I believe are worthy of at least a glance) I give you one of my newer maps that I haven't gotten very many bad reviews about. It's one of the only of it's kind I believe. It's a fast paced map that could go under competitive and Casual depending on the amount of players. Also, this map works with Team Slayer and CTF ONLY! Red and Blue teams or else all the spawns are messed up. Before anyone goes off on a tangent look at what is ALREADY in the new map I'm making. -More space -More pleasing to the eye, no more Fence boxes. -Crouch deep trenches for a more realistic envoirnment. -New set-up for the tunnel systems, more intricate. To be added: -Some way to encourage more attacks across the open field.

ok first off this map looks poor astheticly, try adding structures or items for show. I think a really cool thing to do would be to add some hills in the map. It would also look cool if instead of straight lines you made the trenches loop around and be more like circles. The gameplay looks good but the middle part is really open, I can see how you wanted a no mans land but try adding a little cover. Maybe make it look like a plane/helecoptor crashed. I'm assuming the shotguns have 0 extra clips otherwise they'd be a little too powerful. Overall 3.5/5

I have always liked these types of maps, however I have a few questions, some of them intertying together. 1st-Is their a tunnel running all the way back and forth from each bases? 2nd-If not a tunnel, is just a big OPEN field that you must cross while getting shot at with snipers and turrents? 3rd-Why I am on the internet at 1:30 in the morning?
I do have some doubts about gameplay, but your interlocking is phenominal. If you go through with the hills, however, this has a LOT of promise. For now, 3.78/5, but fix this up in a v2. Merry Christmas! Desert Rat 852
This might be more of a mini-game/casual map than competitive. Also, it looks really good, but adding a hill? Honestly? Make it easier on yourself, and just add some other random objects interlocked in no mans land. TURRETS. Why do people say turrents? It's not even a Word. turrent definition | Dictionary.com
1. Yes 2. Yes, it's part of the fast paced gameplay. Through the use of grenades and the tunnel you can effectively cut out any sort of stalemate. 3. Because you, want to? I promise alot because it's what I WILL do. Even if I have to bang my head against a wall until it cracks. I said depending on the players it can switch from competitive to Casual. Also, I tried that, it broke the map flow. I don't know how exactly to explain it but the map was off...
hmm, i kind of like the idea of the map i have seen things like this before, but this one really needs some interlocking. Just looking at the pictures, the lines in between each box is really disturbing and it doesnt really appear nice. well anyway nice job on this map
I played this map earlier today after reading this thread and this is what I have to say: I was playing and saw that there are massive amounts of power weapons clustered in one spot. The equipment on top is somewhat useless and extremely clustered. I understand you were probably going for the total-chaos style, but this isn't really right for it. With about 3 swords behind 1 shield door, you're going to see a lot of camping in-game. If you were to fix some of the weapon spawning, take out the shield doors, and interlock the double boxes for a smoother feel, this map would warrant a solid 4.5/5. But as of right now, I'm going to rate it a 3/5.
omg, this looks so much like my first map, Entrenched!(btw, this is probably better than mine, as it sucked lol) I like the fused turret idea. lookes rather clean and prety fun, too! I would recomend interlocking the doucle boxes on top, and remove the massive amounts ofpower weaopns. Make a v2, and this would really cool. 3/5
It seems original from the pics, but with the gameplay aspect, I'm a bit skeptical... I also think that the map looks a bit plain; I mean, sure you have objects like cones and fire grenades scattered around, but not much else. I'm sure that in the v2, things will be fixed. 3.5/5
