Hey. In all senses of the word, I'm a noob with these forums but still an avid small time forger around my group of friends. Recently, I've been having a problem with one of my new maps Respite (V2.) -> Bungie.net : Bungie Online : Halo 3 File Details The problem I'm having deals not with how to merge or place an object but with an odd inconsistency that occurs with the merged objects. In several of them (Not all of them, I believe) objects placed on them and that fall on them during games (specifically weapons) sink slightly and are unreachable or unable to be picked up. I can't imagine that the problem is too rare so I'll refrain from posting pictures unless asked. What's the solution? Now please direct me to a thread that deals with a solution if one has already been posted and I haven't found it in a search but, regardless, any help is appreciated and thanks in advance.
The reason this happens (most of the time, atleast) is because it's an open box. I'm assuming you're using boxes, yes? Try changing the ones that you're having problems to closed and it should be fixed.
weapons also sink into fence walls, so try to avoid those. normal walls and closed boxes won't let weapons sink i don't think.
Hm. I do suppose that they are Open Boxes... That's upsetting because I make my maps without the budget or infinite item glitch and this throws a wrench in my supplies. I'll have to find another way to fill those places in my map. Anyway, thanks for the help.
If you didn't use all of the item you should be able to delete them all and get your inventory back. Thats how its supposed to work atleast.
