OK heres the deal, i just kinda started making maps in forge. i know how to interlock and all that stuff. the problem is i am not creative at all . This is my 3rd map that i am working on. basically the premise is a small enclosed area within foundry with 2 bases opposite eachother with a 2 story structure in the middle. i originally wanted the middle structure to be like backwash with a lift to get up to the 2nd level and a walkway around the outside. anyway like i said i am not creative AT ALL and i need help with designing the middle structure, so i have some pics of what i have so far. And i know that it is incredibly sloppy. So if any1 has any ideas for the 2nd level please let me know, if you want you can join my party tommorow and help me or you can draw me something or i can put it on my fileshare and you can fool around with it. i will give you credit of course. thank you The middle structure lower level, the bases are to the left and right Base A Base B Middle structure(the red boxes are open boxes, so it has 4 entrances) Looking down the long hallway Need to fill this empty space (maybe the 2nd level can somehow cover this open area)
for the empty spaces you could make a small car park or summit - sounds simple but on this map car parks made from cages, fork lifts and a few barrels/fusion coils looks nice- if not that, either make those two areas have some sort of grav lift scenery (your choice) or u could make booby traps. Make a lure like a fuel rod but then by putting pallets above a single open crate (where u get to it) which when u fall through has teleporters which send u to an area outside the map where u get killed by the guardians
I like that booby trap idea! As for this map you should really work on the middle structure. It looks extremely messy(no offense)
^ Because of the shape of the structure in the center, it is sort of hard to make it all align. He should fix some of the boxes so that it's all straight, and maybe add in more boxes so you don't have those 'V' shaped areas between the boxes on the corners.

Instead of using single boxes try some doubles...it should make it look nicer. I don't know why you are blocking off a wall with double boxes. The wall is a wall. It is blocking the way out itself. You will have much more objects to work with.
the double boxes arent against the wall. i wanted to make the map smaller so its blocking off like half the map.
