lol, yeah i learned to interlock when i was about 95% done with the map, i think if i did though the map would be even smaller though thanks, i was hoping the pit idea would bring something new to the plate
Amazing map, it looks like it could be great for tactical game play. The only thing I don't like about it is that each team has quicker access to different power-ups, and this might effect game play greatly.I can see how both AC and OS could drastically effect this map. I'll go ahead and give it a DL, very nice job.
Yeah, I do have a map called Pitfall, but I can't access it right now cause I can't get my other account currently... HOwever this map looks pretty cool I will take a look at it!
Your video was great and a much better choice than screenshots, whether it was intended or not. I don't think they would have sold your map as well. My kudos to you for such a sweet design. Looking forward to playing it soon.

This map is incredibly well made, interlocked or not. You must have spent so long. I hope future maps incorperate some ideas from this. Its so well put together.
This map looks great. The layout seems to be built perfectly for objective games. The weapon layout seems perfect, I'll have to check up on spawn times though. If you don't think you'd be able to interlock the ground, you should at least turn the boxes upside down. The solid gray surface will make your map look even cleaner than it already is. PS you should try not to double post. It is frowned upon here. Just go back and edit your post next time if you wish two reply to more than one person.
as i've stated, i didnt know about interlocking until i was about 95% done with the map, and to go back and redo everything, would be too pain staking. :squirrel_nono:
yeh i hear ya..it would take alot of time... maybe after im done with my current project and an update for another map i might just have to do the interlocking for you. thats how much faith i have and how much potential i see in this map
^^^^Boy, gotta love the people who pay attention, don't ya?^^^^ I did a forgethrough this morning and it was all I thought it would be. Excellent job on the layout. I can't believe such a simple concept like angling the doors would add so much to the gameplay when it comes grenade-time. and honestly, the non-interlocking really doesn't make that big of a deal here. I was able to move around quite nicely without too many stutter-steps. The only issue I found is with the Rocket Launcher. I don't know if it was intentional or not, but a 30sec respawn for such a behemoth is a bit much, even if you have to jump over a chasm of death to get it. The usual setting is at least 120 sec. But that's a pretty minor issue for a map that's super sweet.
