ok so this is my second post on forge hub. i posted Valorous, a competitive map. I made this map a long time ago and a friend told me to post it on FH. i thought, brilliant! but it wasnt rlly up to FH awesomeness so technically this is a v2. anyway, the map is Holdout, a small shack at the end of foundry that is constantly bombarded by zombies. this game is level-based. new, right? so theres 4 levels. each is one minute. a level counter is near the top of the map and displays the level. each level, more cover spawns to protect the zombies. after 4 minutes, the zombies have plenty of cover to happily stroll into the shack so watch out. each round is 5 minutes. if u can last, are survived the Endless Zombie Rampage! which brings me to the gametype (E.Z.R.) 25% zombies with super speed and average gravity fly at u constantly. the survivors have pistols but 4 SMGs, 2 shotguns, 1 sniper, and 1 turret spawn on the map. however, none of them respawn. just try to last! ok so on to the pics... looks really fun - i love your level idea. one thing though - level two is pretty much not so helpful compared to level one. i think you should put maybe a little bit more cover closer to the shack. otherwise, looks really fun - great geomergage: 3/5 edit: i took another look at the pictures, ive changed my mind, if the zombies move fast, then i think its fine. however, you should make the levels last less time, or else it could get boring quickly
It looks extremely open and really simple. The only things I really like are the teleporters and powerups that say what level you're on, that's pretty sweet. From the pictures, it basically just looks like those ones where the zombies are constantly killed and end up like 5-40.
so it's pretty much fat kit with no fat kid? you just get no unlimited ammo and shitty weapons. it seems a bit boring for the zombies. how many times have you tested it? edit: geomerge the wall corners or something just to make the sparse cover at least look good. I would also suggest that the open dboxes should spawn at lvl 2. EditEdit: do you get unlimited ammo?
That is nice! My new map I am getting tested out tomorrow uses the exact same method. I used the custom power ups for each level that went on to the wall of my map, and the map is named level's lol. That is quite funny, anyways the map looks good. A little spacious though, maybe more structures for each level. Also the human holdout area seems really basic, maybe make it look better. It's hard to tell though because you only get one view at it, which is inside. The weapons for the humans should be a bit mixed too, all smgs and a sniper? The map looks really fun though, good to see something unique with the level. Also my map is always open so if you want to help test let me know, so far only one person signed up. :[ 4.4/5
Never seen this kind of idea before, and thats the main reason I'm downloading it. It looks fun. Just, do the Humans have instant kill or the zombies have like 10% percent health because a lot of infection maps are like that and it makes it really hard for the zombies. If it is like that then I think you should make infections worth a lot more than one point, because the last man standing would win like every round. If zombies have normal health, great job that'd be awesome. I also really like how you did the level thing up top, that's awesome. Oh ya, one more thing, you might want to add a bigger variety of weapons, SMG happens to be my favourite gun, but a lot of other people would like some different guns like a battle rifle or something. Anyways, once I get a big game going I'll come back and rate.
