Even though he DID kill them not over a video game....but he had staph infection so that would've had something to do with it....and It can affect your mental health.....And it wasn't totally because of halo 3 or "violent" video games....Halo 3 was just a factor into pushing into doing it....There was not a thing in halo 3 that involves getting a halo3 game and gun to shoot your parents.......It must've been other reasons too.

Yeah... As ****ed up as this is, I ****ing guarantee you it wasnt Halo 3 that was the problem. This kid was probably the subject of all kinds of strict religious rules growing up, and as a teenager. He probably resented his parents, probably hated them. When they finally barred him from playing violent video games, no doubt because "God doesnt want young children playing those kinds of games!", he probably just snapped. Yes, I realize how insulting this is to those who are religous. But that doesnt change the fact that I'm probably right. If this is the case, the parents braught this on themselves. You can't raise a kid with over-the-top religious rules and not expect some kind of consequence. That kinda **** ****s you up, especially if you don't want it. On a side note: This is yet another reason not to have kids. They might end up killing you someday. By the way, I'm not condoning what the kid did, or defending him. Killing is wrong, unless its in self defense. Thats a given. I'm just trying to defend video games in general. Whenever theres a video game involved, people automatically tend to blame it, and I'm presenting a more plausable reason that the kid tried to kill his parents.
This is really sad.Its also kind-of pathetic.I feel bad for the family.The kid probably had stress related problems or he was mental or something.Very disturbing to me.
