Finally got the New Pictures and updated map up. When people start to download this map I will make more FIGHT CLUB maps so eventually we can have tournaments at different places. Just send me a message if you have any ideas.
Only a few people were on for FIGHT CLUB last night. I'm trying to get more people interested in joining. Leave your gamertag here and I'll add you. Or just download the map and gametype and send me a friend request.
I'm pretty sure theres not much skill involved in beatdown-only gametypes. If u made the octagon bigger and used swords thered be much more skill.
It is pretty much the same as boxing from Halo 2 except now with halo 3 you can have a set place where the people fight and not tell everyone to "meet in the middle". I think it's the funnest most fast paced mini game there is for Halo 3.
Sounds pretty boring, and unorigional. I don't like how you double posted, posted in bold, and said it was the best ever, when I can tell by the pics and description that it obviously is not. To say its unoriginal is being ignorant. No one else has made an Octagon map for fight club. If no one else has done it then I'd say it falls under the catergory of original. Not only that I havn't seen anyone else with a fight club map period. I dont know why you guys bash a map before you play it. Maybe i just should of made a stupid infection map like everyone else. Would that be original?
The attitude you expressed about your map and the way your reacted to my post in the above posts are now among the reasons why I will not consider downloading this. I have not played it, but I can still evaluate it based on screenshots and your description. If the map is not what you made it look like and sound like with these, you'll need to improve your pics and description, however I think the problems here lie in the map itself.
Look, let me just say something. We do allow criticism of maps that suggest ways to improve it. And if you say it is unoriginal, have something to back up your statement.

then they wouldn't get kills would they. This map should be posted under competitive maps because it is a minigame but it is extremely competitive. Also, do you think the new melee system update will affect the gameplay?
Hmmm.. best mini-game ever? Looks incredibly boring to me.. nothing but beatdowns? Also looks pretty easy to merk peeps as they enter the teleporter. What if you had reciever nodes floating or something, or maybe mancannons to enter the arena? Iunno.. Ninja Monkey vanish* POOF!
Looks too small. Maybe make each wall two pieces wide, that would significantly increase the square footage. Also, whomever stated to float the Receiver Nodes... Ditto, they should be floated so folks entering the arena aren't popped. It would be very easy, based on the pics, to stand just behind and to the side of a Node and get a cheap assassination.
Yeah, something tells me this isn't 'teh be$t ev3r minigme' I don't really think it's that good. Sounds just like a large boxing pit.
