    Hide Out V.2 is a assymetrical slayer map dominated by a long hallway bisecting the warzone. The hallway has a total of three floors and it is a great place to test your BR skills against your friends. To one side of the hallway is a mainly open area which is perfect for team firepower or a wellplaced grenade. The other side has more walls and containers to create more of a maze feel which will test how well you use your radar. Although very different, both sides are fair when it comes to objective games such as capture the flag. Of course this is a very general desciption, your gonna have to download and play the map to get the whole idea!

    Playable with:
    • -3-12 players
      -Up to 6 teams
      -Slayer
      -Capture the Flag
      -Assault
      -Oddball
      -VIP
      -Infection

    Changes from original map:
    • -Man cannon in hallway works 9/10 times. (Just don't walk into at too much of an angle and it will work every time)
      -Additional playable gametypes
      -Team spawn fixed
      -More BRs!!! YEAH!!!

    SCREENSHOTS:
    [Left/Top]- First floor of the hallway, this becomes littered with bodies after about 2 minutes. :squirrel_jaffa:
    [Right/Bottom]- View of the lifts that take you up to the third floor where the rockets are. This is actually the old pic, this new map has two lifts to do the job. The newer pic was widescreen while the others are fullscreen...it just looked weird so I didn't use it.

    [Left/Top]- View of the left side entrance of the hallway. Their are a few different entrances so that you can reach each main floor without going around.
    [Right/Bottom]- View of the right side entrance to the hallway. The first entrance on this side goes to the bottom floor while the other first door goes to the second floor.

    [Left/Top]- Turret view of the left side of the field. This has more of a maze feel which tests your skill with your radar.
    [Right/Bottom]- Turret view of the right side of the field. This side has more open space that really tests team firepower and grenade placement.

    [Left/Top]- This view is from one sniper spawn to the other and it is also a way to get around the hallway without actually going into it. Snipers often jump up to this gap to duke it out right in the beginning, so watch it when that happen.
    [Right/Bottom]-A nice action around the backside of the hallway. This is basically a reminder that you can kill someone through a fence box. :squirrel_wink:

    [Left/Top]- Your average battle within the hallway of sorrow...or is it the hallway of lost hope??
    [Right/Bottom]- If you work well as a team, you can kill some of your opponents through the fences before they even get into the hallway. It really helps when you wanna get an early lead.

    Good work, this is really neat and the walls look like they fit together well. I would que but i don't have the new maps yet.

    looks pretty good actually! It reminds me of Lintendo's Great Wall

    ok so ive played this map since it was just in the works and it still is one of my fav's!

    if you can sneak into the room beyond the hallway you can control most action going on in there. (hint from me)

    totally worth a download. (maybe two! :p)

    Thanks for all the support guys!

    I do pride myself in how perfect the walls flow together, but it took a LONG time to match everything up right. There are a few bumps that I just lost my patience on.

    Do you guys have any suggestions for it?

    looks sweet. nice pics. qued.

    considering this is your first slayer map, i looks amazing. nothing i could probably do. i like the shot of the action, adds a good touch. do the turrets have much control? and where are the pick-ups. i need to have an advantage ovr my friends. Also, is it just a big wall, or can you go into it and stuff. is there another side. well i guess i'll find out. looks kick ass! also, vehicles?

    I agree Nemi, the pics just do not do the map any justice. I tried to take some good over-view pics, but there are too many differant things happening. If I find some spare time I'll try to take some better ones and update the post. I'm a lil-busy finishing my most recent map, hopefully it will turn out well.
