this involves something i heard from a friend about the elephant about its gravity ok heres the story....((ripple effect))....my friend was joking around and flipped the elephant and it landed on its side and then before he flipped it back he put a turret on its side , to where it would be face up, and then later with out even thinking of the turret he flipped the elephant right side up and of course the turret went flying but spawn remained there , he didnt even think about it, then about 30 secs later it spawns SIDEWAYS AND ATTATCHED TO THE ELEPHANT so then he manned the turret and he was side ways shooting. my friend is not trust worthy on stories like this so can anyone prove or disprove him please
I'm going to take a guess and say that it would just display the "inoperable turret" message. Could be wrong.
i think i'm going to test that out. EDIT: i just tested it and i cant beleive it but, IT WORKS!!! i flipped the elephant, put a turret on the sealing, and started a new round. then behold the working upside down turrent. now to try it with a vehicle
If this is actually true, can one of the people that says it works post a picture proving it, because I am still not really convinced. Nothing personal, I've just heard a lot of crazy stories in Halo that people say work, but never actually work for me.
It should work because if you think about it, the mongoose on it in matchmaking doesn't spawn back at where the the elephant starts. It always spawns on the elephant. Also the fusion coils, used in the map to make it fly, fly with it. The sideways turret definitely sounds cool.
k, i'm taking a pic, i'll post it in a sec EDIT: sorry can't do it just yet, g2g to tennis practice, big match comming up. EDIT2: heres your proof i took the pic at the end of the game to prove no one else was helping me
i will have to try that out and i also play tennis kayaman, do you do it competitively? ranked where in US?
Omg that is so sweet, just in the fact that you are upside down. This doesn't really change the mapping experience though.
I wonder... This could be useful if you could put turrets on the sides of the elephant, or in the "mouth" where the mongooses are... It would definitely look cooler
omg, i know what i'm going to try next! oh and to jasonyo, i play doubles competitively in Hawai'i, yes i said Hawai'i
WOW, can you do this on other maps like foundry? this could give a totally new feel to gameplay. OMGIMUPSIDEDOWN!!!1!!
