ya that got you here... now whats this map about? Ok as mentioned above, this map is based off an old school game (often alluded to in GTA) called Lemmings, which in turn is based off rodents which supposedly kill themselves during migration (please don't tell me if they do or dont). Anyway... I've been working on this map for some time... I've posted at least 2 threads with different testing versions of it and I've made over 10 actual gameplay versions of the map, all in an effort to figure out which one was the "bestest". With so much time spent into making it... and a few testers and people watching/helping me make it... people were bound to yell at me for not completing it (even my RL friends :C ) so... last night... after an extreme amount of boredom... I completely rehashed the map and it is now called the final version so without further ado... here it is. Gameplay: Rounds are 1 minute long 1 Humanitarian, the rest are Lemmings Everybody is at 200% gravity Humanitarian: GOAL: Kill Lemmings Uses a BR with unlimited ammunition Invincible 1 point per kill Damage is set at instant kill (for fairness reasons) Lemmings: GOAL: Kill themselves Use Swords 2 points per suicide Overview The Humanitarian (i.e. delusional guy) spawns/stands on this platform and tries to "save" the Lemmings before they kill themselves. The teleporters above ensure that he does not cheat and kill himself. If he does try to commit suicide, he goes to the Cheater room where he sits and watches the lemmings point count climb ever higher. Lemmings spawn in a closed room and run through the teleporters. They are are teleported into the tunnels, which all feature a shield door for protection. NOTES: As it is near impossible for the Humanitarian to get away with suicide, it is impossible for the Lemmings to jump onto the platform (Yes I fixed it) The two main tunnels and the middle chasm have a mancannon for an extra boost There are hidden secrets throughout the map DOWNLOAD: MAP GAMETYPE Anyways thats it, have fun and thanks for your patience and your DL. -Sarge
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) I assume that there will be approximately 3 posts made while I am posting this, of course I'm downloading this. If I remember, you were working on this before I got to this site, which was mid January. Thank god it's finished, or rather, thank Sarge. ::EDIT:: Only one post?
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) I think that the Lemmings should earn less for every TK.
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) they dont kill each other, they jump off a cliff and kill themselves ya haha... its been through many months and many different incarnations
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) Well, how much health do they have? It would be fair if they had low health, because then you wouldn't have to shoot them with a whole clip before they hit the death barrier.
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) did you read the post or just look at the name and pics... it says instant kill man. trust me, I've spent over a month possibly 2 on this map, I've got everything covered
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) wow someone gave it a 4 and there havent been any DLs... very suspicious... revenge maybe?
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) Lol, if that were so, I think they'd have rated it lower.
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) the fact is... why would someone rate it before playing it? I barely posted it and someone downrated it...theres no WAY they got 16 people together and had a full game within 5 minutes of my post
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) Finally you lazy bum, and I like the newer tunnels, but I did like the old platform with the boxes instead of those ugly bridges. Oh well, but it is great gameplay!
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) whoever rated it may have been a tester on the map before so he has already played it, besides he's not downrating it he's the first rating so its still an uprating. And for those who downloaded it but it still says 0 downloads, he won't get credit for the download until its on your xbox, you just have it qued.
Re: Lemmings (small mammals with suicidal tendencies) thanks for the explanation...seriously this isnt sarcasm even though the next part will make it seem so ya I figured that out like 2 secs after the guy said its still uprating haha
