Sorry for all the squeaker voices in the background, but you'll get a good glimpse of the map, even if the guy just camps in the basement. Awards and Other Top Recognitions - Bungie Favorites (MBT) week of December 5th - Recommended by the staff at HaloRatings.com - Hall of Fame in Eagles75's Map Promotion Thread -Top 5 in Triggerhappy915's Map Promotion Thread Gametype Description I know my other gametypes I created for v1 and v2 were very poor, but that is because I never had enough testers to help me out with it. Now with the added support of new friends who love my maps, I have created a much better gametype to go with the map I am Legend v3. The humans start off with shields, but 200% damage resistance with no shield recharge. They can take 2 hits from the zombies, but that’s it. This is to simulate the attack of the virus overtime. The zombies run faster, jump higher, and have no shields. They can take multiple shots to the body but only one to the head, so aim high! The game is 4 minutes long, but I will explain why later. I am Legend v3 Gametype Map Description My newest version of I am Legend is much more consistent with the floor plan in the movie. Walking in the front door, one who has seen the movie can clearly see the resemblance. The 2 flights of stairs are above one another, just like the movie. There is even a TV (where Shrek was played) and a kitchen. I added a few things that weren’t in the movie, but these additions are only to improve gameplay. For the most part, the house looks exactly like Robert Neville’s house, for those who have seen it. For those who have not seen the movie, you will still enjoy it regardless. The house is also much bigger than my previous versions. The house is 3 stories tall also, just incase you didn’t know. The coolest part of this map that is unique is the ability to actually go down into the basement, otherwise known as Neville’s lab. I think you guys who haven’t played my other versions will like it a lot. New Map Features - Added the small hiding spot where the mother and child hid in the movie. The door to the chamber closes after 3 minutes, so survive long enough, and you just might have a chance to send someone inside!! - 2 secret entrances, one on the middle floor and one on the top floor (not so secret, just look) - Shield wall to simulate Plexiglas door in movie - Basement redesigned to avoid camping as much as possible - 2 Iron Doors set off center to simulate the explosion’s destruction of the house (and so you have a peephole to see through) - 5 easily defined rooms, along with abundant hall space for intense zombie games - Less scenery outside (sorry lack of money) - ‘C4’ charges that can be easily detonated for added defense by shooting the fusion core resting inside the front door - Doors placed in front of windows to simulate the house lockdown with iron doors (each spawns at a separate time to make it seem like Neville is going through the house closing them one by one) - Back door and back porch added - Much cleaner feel to the overall map. This version is made much better than my previous ones, with almost little or no flaws in the structure that I can find - Added more Battle Rifles to the map (with limited ammo to avoid camping) because Neville wielded a scoped M4 Carbine -Other weapons include: 1 shotgun, 3 magnums, and 2 SMGs. Yes, it is. Sadly, I've never been active on ForgeHub. My Gamertag is xBRx destroyer, and yes, I did make it. You can even verify that with a bunch of people. Don't ask Dom though, because he just wants to make me look bad. =P
ok, just making sure. and just to tell you the first time i saw this map i thought it was amazing with all the merging and game play features, and it fits very well with the story with some of the aesthetic stuff like the labs downstairs
i remember this, just like the good old infection days about invading houses, great job 5/5, nice first post and good luck on hopefully another awsome map post.
yea this is pretty darn old... ive played this along time ago, and its recently on bungie favs. are u really the maker of it? i know u said u were but it just seems fishy. anyway. it IS an awesome map. majjor win. i just dont like the door to much in the basement where the ppl can hide and stay safe forever. its kinda annying when ppl use it. it a great idea, just if its not like a 3min round then you pretty much gotta end the game. over all 5/5. use th money glitch so u can add scenery. EDIT: forgot to say how its perfect w/ the movie and all its details.

Man I love this map... I hope you make some more infection maps because there have not been alot lately... Good ones that is. There have been some original ones but not any good ones in my opinion.
it doesnt matter if u link a bnet account. anyone could do it. i could link a bungie employee's account and say hes me! but i believe you. and your maps great. congrats on bieng an 1337 forger
Hey man sick map! I remember playing this when it was a wee v2, it was soooo fun! somehow my friend got into a room noone else could get into.. he went AFK and someone snuck in and owned him, i lold. But havent you made another map too? a really good one, i just cant remember which one it was..
This got on Bungie Favorites, didn't it? Anyway this is the best IAL map I've seen. All the other ones are really sloppy, great map.
This was such an old map, but still is one of the best infection maps. Are you going to be coming out with any new projects soon?
Yes, I think the gametype is linked in the OP. I haven't planned on Forging anything else. I'm really bad with ideas. This is the best map I've made. I've made about 5-6 others, but they weren't good enough to post online. I'm just a perfectionist, and most of them were just average. Maybe if Bungie comes out with a new Forge-Map I'll pick it up again with a new project.
Ahh...This map is a classic. I remember in the good ol' days when you posted this on bungie.net and it got hundreds of comments. Haha. I'm proud to say that you got the recognition you finally deserved for getting on Faves. Congrats for that. This is of course an incredible map that is known for its awesome gameplay. There has yet to be a better "standard" infection map, IMHO, than this. BTW guys, Scott is the maker of I am Legend. I know for a fact. I think your B.net name was Scott1991 or something and your GT was BRDestroyer? lol
What the? lol isn't this map.............months old? Interesting you're just posting it now...anyway the map itself is good I like how the house looks aesthectically. I'm sure since then you've learned how to merge and other important techniques so you could fix it up a bit just to help the aesthetic view, but I do remember it definitely plays well. Spawn camping and , I guess, survival wasn't really an option unless someone went to the back areas, but they didn't last long. (Which is a good thing.) 8/10, but with some touch-ups here and there it could get a perfect 10. Oh and I'm sure you forgot by now, but this is Chicken Wangz from a looooooooong time ago I used to be in your group when it was still on Bungie.net lol I think during the 2nd Custom Game Night :O
Haha yeah, I made my gamertag about 3 years ago and never decided to change it. I prefer to go by Scott on the internet. Thanks for all the positive comments guys! It's hard to imagine that my map is still remembered and played this long after I made it. EDIT: Dude! Chicken Wangz!? No way man! Where have you been all this time! We missed you over at LoF during those epic gamenights! Oh, man, you should come chill with us sometime. We've done so much since those days. Haha, who would have guessed I would run into you now. =P
