Respawn Interlox Furry and Smeagle Now and again I jump into a friend's forging session to find them interlocking two objects. To do this, when they move the second object over, they just eyeball it. So, me and Smeagle developed a trick to get it clean and precise. Spawn your first object Place a Fence Box straight against the first object Spawn your second object next to the first Place the point of a respawn point into the first object at how far you want the second object interlocked in Set the first object at 180 spawn time, and spawn at start to no. Restart the round, then move the second object over until the edge is at the respawn's point. Force spawn the first object and there you go, a clean interlock
There is a long list of ways to interlock. This combines a few; it all really depends on what you're comfortable with. If this works for you guys, then by all means use it. Other people could have other strategies, hopefully people will use this though.
This looks pretty coo' I generally place a weapon holder on top of a sideways double box at the point I want to interlock to, so it's pretty much the same as this only I'm replacing the fence box and respawn point
No, it's not new. Nor is anything in a video game. It has always been there. No probably weren't the first ones to do it but this is just one of the many ways to interlock percisely and pristinely. You don't need to use it, you can even compromise it to your own likings. Go over to Matty's new geo-merging thread and say that to him and Iv0ry if you think you can just barge in and state the obvious. We're just introducing it to the new people. If you know it and don't have any questions, don't post Developed, as in spawned. We developed something not really new for us in forge. So yeah, we did develop it, maybe not originally but who cares, its here, are you trying to convince me to take it down? I smell epic fail in your general direction.
Well said Furry, and the fence box isn't an exact part of this technique that has 'been around' We added it in as to help more than we could have.
Wow, no offense, but IMO i don't think this deserves a thread. This technique is widely known, and i dont see why you would sit down and take the time to actually put this post together. Although, its nice to see members trying to help the other forgers become better. So in that perspective, good job. (Please take no offense, just my opinion.)
Oh I've seen uhm... Scopulus he forges like this. It was weird, never thought of doing such a thing. I just happened to be in forge with him though and he whipped out the respawns I'm like wtf, but it was verrrrry clean. In regards to dude above me... just cause a bunch of people know doesn't mean others don't. This site is a growing community by the minute even, new forgers appearing left and right so it's not unheard of to lend a helping hand and show others what may appear to be very useful.
