Enclosed v3 Created by Aitius A small training facility that has both CQB and long-range BR fights. Base:Last Resort Supported Gametypes: Slayer King of the Hill Oddball ***Story*** This abandoned shipping facility was converted into a training arena for spartans. But in less than a year, the flood overran it and killed everyone inside. After the end of the war, they re-converted it into a training facility. ***Description*** This is a map that takes place only in the base of Last Resort. It has long sight lines and close quarters, so there is something for everyone. A few notes: -THIS MAP TOOK ME ABOUT 30 CUMULATIVE HOURS from each version. V1 to V2 was mainly adding more stuff to it, and fixing a few bugs. V2 to V3 is the biggest jump, with almost a complete tear-down and reconstruction of the walls. -THERE ARE GRENADES IN THIS MAP!! Normally, maps like this are forced to eliminate grenades because it can lead to easy escapes. This map, however, has grenades, and I am confident in saying that you won't be getting out anytime soon. -PLEASE, BREAK MY MAP!! I WANT THIS MAP TO BE BROKEN, SO THAT I MAY TRY AND FIX THE PROBLEM. MY GOAL IS TO MAKE THIS MAP COMPLETELY IN-ESCAPABLE, AND I AM DAMN CLOSE. I DO NOT KNOW OF ANY WAYS TO GET OUT RIGHT NOW. Okay, now that I got those out of the way, here is the weapon list: 5 BR 1 Sniper/180 sec. 1 Shotgun/180 sec. 2 SMG 1 Magnum 1 Spiker 1 Plasma Pistol 1 Assault Rifle 1 Needler ...and the equipment list: 1 Bubble Shield/180 sec. 1 Radar Jammer/120 sec. 1st? Enclosed V3 Looks good; i'm afraid i'm pretty new to this idea, I haven't tried or even heard of the previous versions, but it looks like you've put in enough time for me to have a look at. Pallet bridges are very time consuming, but it looks like you've made an amazing job, and from what i can see, you've manipulate this part of last resort perfectly, the inside suits 'the theme' of the map's design, and everything seems to flow fluently with the map. Also this is probably one of the only maps i've seen that shows their behind the scenes, and i appreciate this, it's a brave move, and it helps to show off how much effort's gone into the map as well. From what i can see, i'll happily give 5 star rating and good rep. Keep it up! *Edit; Apologies, but for some reason it won't let me give good rep. looks a lot like one of my maps and a few others i seen the other day i like it though and ill try it out.
I have never tried this out, but if you close those hatches that you have blocked by teleporters and lock them by placing teleporters there.. do they spawn closed? could you add more descriptions to the pics showing where the weaps are on each pic? I don't really seem to see too many weapons around anywhere.. Ill DL and get back to ya on that one
I remember making a map in last resort's base once. The hardest part was blocking everything off. I would suggest making those teleporter's not active that are behind all the boxes. You can see them from the window, which isn't very aesthetically pleasing, and could lead nubs to thinking you were supposed to be able to get out there.
Wow. 30 Hours? I made a map just like this today. It took me 2 or 3, including the gametype. It has the same blockage too... Though it is only infection and is going to be in a map pack. Still, nice job. Great minds think alike
Ok, it was 30 hours TOTAL. That means every version of it. This version took about 5. the others were the long ones. Also, you don't see a lot of weapons in the pics, but they are definitely there. I also can not make the teleporters outside go away, because every teleporter in the map is placed on this. Also, screw aesthetics. It really does not matter on last resort. If this was foundry, then yes, aesthetics would be nice. But I really can not fix the outside to be pleasing to the eye. sorry\ EDIT: My apologies. I took these pics in a BR-only game, so there were no weapons on the map. Very sorry
