I was wondering if anyone has a working ODST HEV in forge that could be attatched to the pillar of autumn map or if you have any suggestions for making one
That would be so complex, and difficult to create. To even make something that you could manipulate over and over again is basically impossible. Bungie hasn't given the necessary materials to make such a thing. And if it could be created it would only be able to be used once in a round.
I wouldn't be so negative and unsure.... I believe it could be done with much work and dedication. I do believe that it would be a one time thing though.... Go down once and then its finished... I do not know who would/could do it
i think it would be fairly simple. make the pod, then put a gravity lift in the back, with a deployable cover in the front that was to be deployed. the only problem is, you would have to use a open box, because otherwise the items wouldn't stay together if it was shot out. what pillar of autumn map are you talking about? i'd like to see it. perhaps a single open box, with crates on either side of it. there would be a man cannon or gravity lift pointing right at the pod from the back, and a custom powerup would hold everything from firing before someone goes in. i think whatever it is, you would have to have a grav lift, and a custom powerup that must be taken before the pod can be shot.do you think that a single open box with pallets or bridges or something on both sides would work? then the next problem is that it wouldn't have enough power to really work, you would need like the force of several fusion coils, which is doable. if it's a single open box with a crate on both sides then you could have a small hole, and when you shoot or throw a grenade then it blows up the fusion coils and fires the pod, with a cool special effect. but there should be a way to activate it without weapons, so if you're out of ammo you can escape.
