To tell you the truth, I had to check that link for Rick Rolls, or anything else of the sorts.... Pretty cool, but I never was a fan of CoD4 myself, I'm more into sticking with what CoD was really meant for, World War 2 EDIT: Halo 3: ODST will have some competition I see....
this company is just cramming out as many clones of this ****ing game as possible, eh? kinda makes me sick to know that they dont care about quality.
i agree broken, they are doing whatever possible to create as many games as they can, like you said, "There just craming them out"
Different companies are each making different games. So that's how they're able to crank them out so quickly. That, and they're all now using the already developed CoD4 engine. Expect to see a new CoD game every year....that has been the trend so far....
still... its a little ridiculous. how about: make a game that can last me quite awhile and make it worth the money i pay for it, not make 50 games that i have to pay $60 apiece for that will become obsolete in 9 months.
That would be Treyarch. CoD4 is an absolutely amazing game. I'd say GOTY of '07. InfinityWard does a fantastic job with their role on the Call of Duty's.
I can't wait. COD4 was one of the best games I have ever played. COD5 will probably be one of the best games I will play. EDIT: Yea, I said COD5. Call of Duty: World at War is not COD5. It's Call of Duty: World at War.
wow, that's pretty interesting. I love CoD4 (still play it) and havent played WaW yet. But heard great reviews thus far. I plan on getting it for Christmas. I wonder what new weapons/perks they'll come up with in this new game.
Nice find. I'm looking forward to it.COD4 was so successful that had to have a follow up. I'm hoping the 'sequel' won't be too bad though. Also, I'm glad that there wasn't a Futuristic Warfare type of thing - that would have got many people wound up. Well I already know two games that I am going to get next Christmas lol - its not even Christmas 2008!
I belive that this is the EA approch to marketing relese the same **** with a slightly bigger number on it and maybe just maybe a new feature each year. I'm just going to take CoD:WaW from my friend and put it on my hard drive **** 60 bucks for it.
It reduces loading time for a lot of games. It doesn't help Halo at all, but games like Oblivion which have very intense load times show a significant reduction in waiting time.
How the hell do they manage to plop out all of these call of duty games out of there asses? What was the point of buying COD 4 when COD 5 was around the corner? Shouldn't they let the game run dry first before creating 2 million other games in the next 2 weeks?
I hope they upgrade the weapons and set it farther into the future. This sounds like it's going to be an expantionpack more then a whole new game. Modern Warfare2 means no new guns, just new maps and campaign. I hope they set it ten or so years into the future and create some unique weapons.
first, I knew it wouldn't have the number 5 or 6 thus making WaW Call of Duty 5 and this one Call of Duty 6. To be fair, it should've been obvious that the numbers would go eventually. Just about every series gets rid of numbers. It starts to sound like it's just a cash cow at 4. On an unrelated note, I love how a huge amount of people think they can outsmart Microsoft with a feature that Microsoft added. And can I just tell you, do what many other people do, only buy the even numbered releases. Thus, don't buy the Call of Duty in 2010. That one will be called Call of Duty: World at War 2.
CoD5 is good exept for the old stuff like...the old stuff. Cod4 has the same gameplay except the aewsome sick zombies
