I'm looking for a good laptop under $500. Don't bother telling me I can't get a good one out there for under $500. All I need to be able to do is surf the web, use Microsoft Office, and loads at something faster than a snails pace. I'd also prefer it if it ran Vista. Any suggestions?
Honestly i would just save up your money and get a good laptop for more money. I have heard pros and cons a bout vista so who knows about that
I've seen several models under 500 that run Vista, so I don't know what you people are talking about.
When I say good, I mean good for that price range. I just basically want one that doesn't load at a snail's pace. Also, I said I would prefer Vista, but I'm not limited to it.
Thank you. $500 laptops aren't going to have very good specs. XP is faster then vista, or so I assume.
I have a fairly fast computer running Vista...and Vista ruins anything no matter how fast your computer is. Don't do it... you want XP...and you want to later upgrade to Windows 7.....avoid Vista at all costs.
i have an idea for you if you go to office depot ask them if any of the floor models have been discontinued from selling mine retails for $1200 and got it for $500
