Sniper Field v2 Created by voivod84 [br] Supported Gametypes: Prey v2 (Infection variant) [br] Map Description As was to be expected, my first version of Sniper Field was not as much of a success as I would have hoped. After further testing I found that the gameplay wasn't nearly as smooth as I would have liked. So, I have completely torn up the first one and replaced it with a massively improved version. Sniper Field 2 is a rectangular field, strewn with barriers and signs as use for cover. At the far end lies the sniper outpost, where the last man standing picks off his enemies. At the end where the zombies start is the "return-fire outpost". Two double boxes high, on either side of the sniper box, are two teleporters. They lead to the return-fire box, which contains a sniper rifle and three fusion coils. Let the games begin... The game begins with the last man standing in the sniper outpost with his trusty sniper rifle (infinite ammo) on one side, and the horde of zombies that spawn behind shields and a wall on the other. The zombies must duck behind the provided cover and make their way to the red sign in the center of the field which covers a single grav lift. The lucky zombie who gets there first must take that grav lift to the end of the field where they can put the grav under a dumpster to provide an elevator (Riding on the dumpster is not necessary, feel free to put it anywhere that gets you up. I just like dumpsters). Once the zombie enters the teleporter atop the boxes, they reappear in the return-fire box, where they grab a sniper rifle (four shots only), and begin to fight back. If they fail, there are three fusion coils with which to commit suicide and start over again. To keep the other zombies busy, I have set the grav lift and sniper rifle respawn times down, for more zombie sniper opportunities. Zombies get two points for shooting the last man standing, and the last man standing gets one point if no one can kill him that round. There are three rounds, each three minutes long. Recommended 8 players, but any number is fine, even 1 vs 1 matches are fun.[br] _________________________________________________ [br] Overview from the sniper's side. [br] _________________________________________________ [br] I have a much better feeling about this map, as it is a huge improvement over the last one, being fun, looking better, and being completely inescapable. I had an idea like this once and it looks like you go pretty close to making it like I would have. The only problenm I have is with the pointless pics of people and not the map. But other than that good work.
I decided to do something artistic with the pictures. Besides, all of the map is shown throughout the screenshots.
