You guys are pretty cruel, which makes this world just a sadder place in the end. Think what you want but don't expect my respect for you guys. I feel for the old guy, it would be pretty sad that someplace you have come to all of your life a home for you basically, to be shut down. I don't know the full story but it is sad.
This is like when i see fat people at mcdonalds or something, all alone. I think its funny, but i also feel bad, because some people cant help it, and they look so sad just sitting there by themselves, although their not sad at all. I just try not to look when i see those funny looking fat people, idk its hard to explain. Its like, you know they shouldn't be eating that food, but you dont want to say anything because you dont know why they are there. Or if they were born like that. idk, its hard to say.
I thought it was hilarious. I started laughing before I even clicked the thread. For anyone who feels the need to tell me to empathize with ol' Mickey Mouse over there, I can honestly say that there is absolutely nowhere that could be closed down that would make me cry. I mean, does the guy still play football there? I doubt it, they're not closing down his memories, they're closing down the place where his memories took place. I'm sure there's places you've been that are no longer there, but when you found out it was gone, I'm willing to bet you didn't cry over it.
Jesus. Such mixed reviews. I should just start a debate called "Do you believe it is humorous when old people cry?" Ridiculous.
at first i felt bad. but than when he got really high pitched and said **** i started laughing so hard. i am ashamed of myself
I found no humor, or sadness. He was just depressed. He got over it. The only thing that ALMOST made me laugh was his "well ****"
Didn't you notice his voice at the start of the film, It was deeper. Also, As you get older things tend to weaken including your voice box. Additionally, you can have dropped balls but still have a high voice. Its not really funny to see someone cry over something like that, He grew up there, Of course hes going to cry.
Its not funny. And before you laugh at him, this is what he says " I am emotionally, Well I grew up here, I live here, And I used to play football here, And I just don’t…. I can’t believe anybody going to close this damn thing down, And I’m a carpenter, I….****. Oh yeah, What are you kidding, It’s like stupid. Why the hell, Why would they shut down this library? Oh defiantly, I grew up on Dekater Street, Basically, yeah."
But say you were just to cry. Would you want other people to find it funny. Actually no, that sounds bad. Say you're crying over something that was a huge part of your life. Something so big you would hate to see it go, so you break down and cry. Would you want people to laugh at it? I assume not.
I wouldn't give a damn, I mean this is also besides the fact that I said I wouldn't cry over something as trivial as a libary. I would if it were a family member or something, but for sure not a Libary.
I most certainly can view that without smiling. I live in the Philadalphia area, and can assure you that the spending cutbacks are affecting everyone in that city. Schools are cutting back, even in thier already terribly poor state. It's really kind of sad.
thats sad, i didnt laugh once. norlinsky, you usually have great videos to share, but this one isnt one of them.
