Ello! Kick Start 01 is an assault course for Mongooses. It's my first custom map, but my friends and I have had quite a bit of fun messing around with it. It's more of a sandbox/open play environment than a race track, but not without challenge! More info and pics on my website My fileshare with the map, and demo videos and pics Cheers, all.
isnt it a bit odd that both you and the first comment some how both have accounts made in december, and both like the map alot and find no problems with it? anyway, the map has its weak points along with all maps, this one looks a little sloppy and quikly made, im gonna skip the no interlocking part scince you probably dont know what interlocking is, the map looks good and has many different thing to do on it which is what i like. 3/5 but interlockplz net time the link can be found here on how to interlock along with geomerging and stuff that is important to know.
Nicely noticed! Hmmmm Anyway; looks okay for a quick build i think there's one idea i haven't sen before, but there's nothing particular amazing other than the last screenshot. 3/5?
"isnt it a bit odd that both you and the first comment some how both have accounts made in december, and both like the map alot and find no problems with it?" What's even odder is that the map's only been in my fileshare two days. I promise it wasn't me gaming positive feedback. Not my style. Still, I'll take the compliment gladly! Thanks for all the feedback. I do know what interlocking is, and I must admit that the thrown together look was something I was after. The Kick Start is named after an 80s kid's TV show in the UK in which people navigated obstacle courses on bikes, and this is an homage to that. It's supposed to be challenging to get the Mongoose around, so a lot of the gaps are deliberate, though I accept it could definitely look prettier. Thanks again, all.
Very nice map, I like it alot. Very original and though there seems to be a lack of interlocking, you still managed to display a very playable map for when the trials of match making become too great. Work on the advanced techniques and you'll be golden, 4/5.
Ooh, I had a similar idea not long ago (I am NOT playing the steal card. I have bad experiances with that). Looks liek you've done an alright job. Looks a little sloppy, but I guess it makes it harder. Perhaps a Ninja warrior- Esque naming of obstacles is in order.
