What has been done with the bridges and boxes together in the second and fifth picture make this map have some wicked awesome ascetics. I just couldn't get over how cool it looked with both of them used together that way.

Anyway, I think this would be a great swat map, set up with such a layout and flow that you have included.

Camoflaug, I didnt think you would post this so soon but anyways, lets get on with my Phreakish Review.

    Aesthetics
Framework didnt really seem like it was supposed to be
a major eye pleaser. There were a couple aesthetics; like
the double-lift pillar and the eye slits near the attacker's
base. Although there were only a small amount, you executed
them very nicely and made them a great addition to gameplay
    as well.
Framework had very clean and straight geomerging. Especially
in the back of the defenders base. You geomerged a fencewall
perfectly into the doorways and room of the back hallway which
    isnt often used.
    Total: 7.6/10

    Layout
The layout to Framework was very iffy. Although you made the map
completely your own. I see some aspects of Grindstone in it. Others
have said this too. Although you did this they were very minor and
the rest of the map was original. I extremely liked the perch you
created for the attackers base. It really reminded me of the one in
Underbog but you revised it with a sort-of basement below it. This
really caught my eye. It seems layouts like this have been getting
    popular amongst the Hubbers.
    Total: 8.0/10

    Weapons/Spawns
The map was created as a competitive map but it seemed to lack
a variety of weapons. It mostly consisted of Battle Rifles or Carbines.
I didnt really like how battle rifles were so easily found. Same goes
for Carbines. You literally put them all within 5-10 feet away from
    each other.
Spawns for Framework worked fairly well. I never spawned in front of
an enemy when playing games on this map. Occasionally in FFA, I may
have run into a quick spawn kill but it rarely happened. Flag was really
exciting since you placed the spawns so well.
    Total: 8.2/10

    Gameplay
Framework's gameplay was simply amazing. There was always a
fight for the rockets at the start of the game. Also if you werent
cautious, a sniper could take your head off. Since spawns worked
amazingly, There was no trouble recooperating after respawn. One
thing that I think you have wrong though is the reccomended players.
I really enjoyed playing 4v4 one flag on Framework. It was chaotic
but in a good way. You should probably try it out sometime.
    Total:9.2/10

    Overall
All in all, Framework is a map that deserves everyone's
download. It combines great gameplay with a new and
original layout. Personally, I really love this map and I
believe it is deserving of a feature on Forgehub. I hope
that this work of art is your key to Premium Camoflaug.

thanks for your phreakish review phreakie but most of the stuff you said was seriously wrong...the weapon placement is good for me and the layout in my opinion is well done.

i Tested so much on this map like 1028948324509 hours and i still love and come back to this map. I cant believe that you once thought of not putting this on here because i can break it. And thats just cuz i am teh win sause lol jkjk. But this has such good gameplay that is should be permenantly on matchmaking always on the front page and also permanently on Bungie/Forghub Favorites.

    GREAT INTERLOCKZORZ 5/5
    kthnxbai

EDIT: After reading some comments i have to say "Phreakie you are an idiot. This map was finished forever ago way before grindstone so grindstone is actually copying off of it. Also how is it like Underbog? Underbog didnt use the back rooms and it wasnt like that in anyplace.

I second this notion, and now for my review:

    Gameplay:
The gameplay on this map is simply amazing. The versatility of pathways and access points provide no real chokepoint, no major "Brawl area". Rarely is this accomplished within maps, making this feature point #1. Two snipers? Rockets? Hey Camoflaug, I'm disappointed. Not. The snipers are perfectly placed, and the Rockets compliment the map; basically, this map wouldn't be complete without those three weapons. Feature point #3, for perfect weapon placement. The jumping routes. Too much jumping. No. Not at all guys, this map provides actually thought out jump routes. Strategy plays into this perfectly.

    Extra: Strategy:
Well, I decided I'd give some tips on strategy. I'll split this into Attackers, Defenders, and Neutral.
    Attackers:
Firstly want to rush the rockets, although a defender would easily be able to grab them first (it's perfectly placed right inbetweent the two...) so one should go for those first. Your teammate on the other hand, should grab a BR, and go for the power drainer and the stickies. Simple as this: over and under attack. Clear out with the rockets, get the HLG suckers with plasmas, finish off with the BR. Power drainer into the back lobby if you're unlucky. Grab the flag, up the lift, hurry to the cap point. Got stuck? Hopefully you're on the fencewalls at least near the cap point. One tip, nade, BR, and rush.
    Defenders:
Basically, if you want to get massacred, it can happen the same exact way as going the other two ways. Surely, you can find your best way of defending, so you should be fine. You have the rush-the-rockets and probably die techinque, but make them waste a rocket, you can go right, and grab the sniper (usually one person does this), and you can lastly stay back or simply go around (bottom right) and flank. Basically, those are your options, but if one person rushes rockets, stay back. When you die, and they are in your base, you will spawn back unpopulated corner. One person should grab the BR near you and go straight at them (if they have the flag go diagonally across courtyard) and the other guy should go towards flag capture point and protect the other access point, the usual way for capturing when Attacking.
Neutral: Tips & Tricks to help you out in general
For attackers, there's a great way to access the flag without going all the way around or jumping from Sniper to back base. From the pipe's ledge, you can hop and ghost jump off the opening to the back base. Great strategy that has helped me and my team win many-a-games.
The box in the 6th picture to where the guy in the picture is jumping, there are fusion coils. Great place to hide, but BANG, the fusion coils go off, and you're dead. Thankfully, Camoflaug provided enough space to squeeze between the fusion coils, and push them off. DO that, and you can easily get into the third "special" sniper/overhead spot.

    Aesthetics:
The courtyard has been beautifully thought out, and the double lift is originality to-the-max. The bottom floor may look open, but trust me, it's not. The walls are placed well, and the full left side of the map (side with the base) has linear lines, while the other side, containing the couryard has a square/circular feel to it. Pretty cool. I'd say around 3 Feature Points were earned here. I would like to also add that the back base is beautifully done, everything incoroporates well into gameplay.

Now, how much do I really know what I'm talking about?
I was invited by Camoflaug to check out his latest map, and when he showed me it, he had the back sniper spawn, along with his other one completed, very roughly, with no back base. With this, he had the full courtyard completed, with some different weapon placement. I watched his map evolve, and tested it from his first testing sessions. I kept coming back, kept helping him out with the problems with suggestions. I noticed I kept testing with the same people, including (of course) Bl00D F1R3, Stealth, HandiCappKill3r, Metallic Snake, Phreakie, Sage, and many others who I don't really know the names of. Some tested less, some more, but I most certainly enjoyed every moment of it. Hours went into the creation of this map, and the testing.

Wrapping it up, I would like to say that this is most certainly in my top 5 maps ever created, and I bet after a 2v2 game of one flag, for many others it will be as well. I actually learned one flag strategy on this map a whole lot better. I have tested, like Sage said, 97348237423 as well, and, also like him I will keep coming back, and back, and once again, back to playing this map. Like Sage said again, I would reccommend this for no less than permanent ForgeHub favorites, a feature, and matchmaking playlist. This makes this map have another 5 Feature Points.

Camoflaug, get ready for premium, that's all I can say (irony....)

    Now onto my "Feature Points"
    Corny? You've got it.
    Effective? Nope...
    Original? Don't know, don't care...
Well, Framework gathered up 10 Feature points, in my opinion, the highest score. I couldn't ask for anything more in a map, and yes, some people may complain about this or that, but hell, no map is perfect, and I'm fine with this map as it is.

Well, this was pretty much my first review, and this map deserved my best.

I was one of the few lucky people who got a game on it via sdrakulich.

Everything was beatiful and Team Doubles was the best I've ever played on.
My favorate part is the design and perfection. You made the lifts perfect and the different heights and bases make this map's gameplay flawless.

    I also smell a feature.

Alright after reading ALL of the opinions of my fellow forgehubians, and only thebrokensilence really said that he didnt find the map beyond his wildest dreams, im ganna have to say

    SUBMIT THIS TO ATLAS

its non-budget glitched, and really what do you have to lose? nothing.]

if it gets accepted, then millions of people would play your map.

of course, you might want to make a V2 first, as there are clearly some things that other want fixed...

Camo thanks for gracing us with more forge-candy. I really want to just stop playing all these new games and go back to good ol' Halo 3 customs because of this one. It looks very clean, and the structure in the middle of the second picture looks very original. I gotta check this one out...

Nice to see you've put out a new map. I've downloaded and maybe eventually I can pull some people together and play this before it gets featured.

k, so I'm a tad late from when I actually played it but, I got in a game of FFA a few days ago and it just hit me that I forgot to return to the thread.
I realise it's not recommended for FFA but I'd forgotten at the time and by the end I didn't have anytime to check out One Flag. But I was impressed with what I saw.

It flowed pretty well in FFA. I didn't really experience any spawning issues. Weapons were nice, they kept the game fresh. I didn't get the feeling of 'is it over yet', I enjoyed every second of it. Except for when Vorpal Ninja'd me. That lift is pure awesome, worked very well and it looked stunning. One thing I didn't like was that some of the higher ledges provided no room for jumping. The tilted fence wall was great for nade bouncing but for jumping purposes I'm not a massive fan of it.
Otherwise, I really enjoyed this map, forging shown is very impressive and extremely consistant. Design and Layout although similar to another map I'm quite fond of(which I know was just a coincidence), was sweet. Weapons were nicely balanced and I didn't see many spawn problems. Excellent job on this one, it's got a well deserved spot on my HD. As good as the map is there is still some room for improvement, I look forward to a possible V2.

    Oh, and sweet video Bl00d.

This map can be described in so many words, most of which being clean, beautiful, awesome, I'm hungry. Maybe the last one was just me. The fusion is ever so smooth and The layout is just perfectly set up for team games. If I were to vote up the next feature, this would be the one. Perfect 10/10, nice work
