    MLG RAPID - FIRE

    Hey Guys! This my first post on forgehub.

    My Gamer Tag is UBER tii

    This is an MLG map that i made, its my first map with geo-merging and interlocking.

    This map supports:
    Team Slayer (Recommended)
    Capture the Flag (Recommended)
    Oddball
    King of the Hill

    The Weapons on the Map:
    6x Battle Rifles - 20 Sec respawn
    4x Carbines - 20 Sec respawn
    1x Mauler - 90 Sec respawn (no spare clips)
    4x Frags - 30 Sec respawn
    4x Plasma - 30 Sec respawn

    looks well forged aside from the wall jumps up the front of the bases. Id switch it out for a ramp, like a single merged double wall ramp. Usually in super competitive maps, The less players have to jump the better. The ground floor could use a tiny bit more cover in between each base and the center structure, as the players on the sides will have an enormous tactical advantage over players down there.

    The layout is rather bleak, however, and has been done hundreds of times already, and pretty much looks like every other MLG map out there. I'd encourage you to break away from the mold, and try a more daring layout.. perhaps asymmetrical, or just more complex overall. Keep forging

    you act like its hard to do that.. anyone with 20-30 minutes to spare could do it, and there's no way you could tell 100% that those are the same boxes anyway. Try and be more constructive in map threads from now on Solo

    I pretty much agree with everything LIGHTSOUT said. It's pretty well forged, although there's not enough ground cover and the walls in the front of the bases do not look very practical. I would suggest this as an alternative.

    Overall, looks like a quality map, although very generic in layout.

    I like the centre structures, the bridges look cool and i like the triangle shaped cover that the merged single boxes make.
    i also like B side, its unique (or at least i think it is) =)
    The only thing i dont like are the bases, the back bridge things arent that greatly merged
    but overall i like it...hmmm....4.5/5

    The map looks very well put together and it has really nice asthetics. One question: do the steps in front of the bases work? Looks good!

    Im also new to Forge Hub and im going to post one of my MLG maps tomorrow
    but WOW
    its a great looking map with alot of merging cool looking details!
    the one small thing i dont like is the accessability on the little X with the bridges
    it really gives a huge advantage for spawn camping and (since i dont like tea) getting spawn camped is not my cup of Hot Chocolate! =]

    so if i had to rate it by the Screen Shots you took
    id rate it a 4.9 out of 5!

    amazing job on you first post! the center looks amazing and you did a wonderfull job making it symetrical. the only thing i would say it could use would be more cover at the conter, on top of the bridges, because it anyone who goes out there gets completely obliterated. 4.9/5, AMAZING!

    and you should really give your post a poll next time, because this map would definitely be 5 stars.

    I'm positive I've seen this before so I think either you're not very new or this isn't your map.....sorry to accuse you of such things it's just a bit skeptical.

    I never gave the other map a review however so I'll give it now. This map is very aesthetically pleasing for an MLG map and I really like the "symmetrical" shapes you added (Like the circle in the middle). I have not played the map yet so gameplay will not be rated yet. So far, from what I see, the map is a 10/10 for aesthetic purposes. I'll play a couple games on it and see if the rating changes.

    EDIT: Wow I'm stupid :p. The first post was 3 weeks ago so yea this is the same map I saw earlier. My bad man - nice map. I'll be back with the review later.
