Some of you may be aware of this, but in the off-chance that you aren't or the community at large isn't, I'll lay it out for you to give some thought to. A portion of you may be operating under the assumption that the only way to create an infinite, self-perpetuating explosion is to stack a bunch of coils together and set an instantly respawning coil to fall into the stack, causing a self-perpetuated explosion. An alternative way of creating the same thing with some room for flexibility is as follows:

    1. Place a man cannon or a gravity lift in an enclosed area or in an area with a solid surface for a coil to make contact with.

    2. Set the "Place at Start" option to "No" and select a generous respawn time for it (long enough for you to place fusion coils in the desired position)

    3. Lay out the coils in any position you see fit to accomplish what you'd like, but make sure they're in the path of a grav lift or man cannon.

    4. Set the desired amount of fusion coils in the area (at least 1) to instantly respawn.

    5. Wait for the man cannon or gravity lift to reappear, and you'll find that although the coil is sitting on top of it, it will not move unless touched or shot.

    6. Make sure that the contraption is in an enclosed area or in an area where the fusion coils can make contact with an immediate surface.

    7. Hit or shoot the coils, stand back, and behold the majesty of an infinite explosion (when the coils explode, they will respawn in the path of the man cannon or gravity lift)

*Only mentioning this in the off chance that people might not be aware of it or if it's been pushed back in the forums--at the very least the community can give it a second look.

The goals in FIFA Stadium 3 illustrate this fairly well.

Very interesting... Not sure what you could use it for, but it sounds cool. I haven't gotten the chance to try it yet, so when I get the time to, I will.

Only if grenades exploded when another explosion happens like in Campaign. That would help a lot. And I call the contraption you suggested a mortar launcher. But yea, make that launch into a spawn area, that would be fun. Just make sure that spawn traits make it deadly :squirrel_evil:.

You could make a level based on like an artillery barrage or something, that would kick ass, and loads of fusin coils could come falling in constantly, would own.

Glad to help everyone out here. It would be exciting to see what people make of it in their maps, if they decide to use it.
