    Complex

    This is another one of my maps that I just randomly made from nowhere. My friend and I were messing around in forge and the center structure seemed like it would be kind of cool for a map, so I finished it off. This map can play Team Slayer, CTF, KotH, and Oddball. I personally feel that this map is best for 3vs3, but 2vs2 and 4vs4 work too. This was one of my earlier maps that I made so it isn`t the greatest but still fun none-the-less.​

    This is an overview of one of the bases. There is a shotgun on the lowered box, two spikers on the bridge, a BR below them along with a mongoose, and two SMG`s and two fragsbehind the barrier to the right.

    This is to the left of the base. There`s a BR behind the barrier, a sniper on top of the stacked boxes, and a grav lift in the open box.

    This is past the sniper tower in the last picture. There`s a plasma pistol on the ground, two frags above the dumpster, and a brute shot behind the barrier.

    This is to the left of the last picture. There`s a BR leaning on the wall below the teleporter, two SMG`s and two frags behind the barrier, and an overshield to the left. (There is another overshield on the opposite side of the map)

    This is the front view of the center complex (hence complex :p). There`s a BR to the right of the box, a regenerator on the box to the right of the BR, and a plasma rifle with two plasmas to the left of the dumpster.

    This is a shot from a higher angle and to the right a bit of the last picture. There are two frags behind the corner wall and a rocket launcher on top of the double box.

    This is just from the opposite side. I just put this one to show that there is a power drain on this side instead of a regenerator. (this is the only non-symmetrical part of the map)

    This is to the left of the plasma rifle as seen before. There is a trip mine in the corner.

    This is a shot of the teleporters. The senders in the bases go to the opposite corner reciever.

    (BTW yes, I do realize that there are way too many weapons :p)

    I like how there are lots of layers but you didn't fuse a lot if you even did. The weapons feel a little too close together. I'll download and see how it plays. 3/5

    Yea i agree with fox alittle to open but ill give a 3/5 for now

    As you already said there are a way too many weapons, which doesnt make the gameplay as competitive. I would also interlock some of the double boxes together so the map is smoother and better to look at. As well, I would geomerge some of the structures to give the map a different feeling and make it more enjoyable to play on.

    Overall, this is a pretty good map. 4/5

    I don't see very much interlocking used here. The concept of this map is very well done and the theme is great but maybe a little more interlocking would help it. I'm talking about the double boxes. Interlock those for some smoother floors and better gameplay with less wild grenade bounces. Now for the weapons:

    Battle Rifle x 8 - 8 is pushing it a little. Not too bad but definitely 4 would be the least amount. Maybe 6 would be perfect. 8 is the most. don't add anymore.
    Shotgun x 2 - Taking away one shotgun would be highly recommended in a semi-small map like this unless they're both on high respawn times and reduced amount of spare clips.
    Sniper Rifle x 2 - 2 Sniper rifles are okay but you don't want too many power weapons in a map as smal as this.
    SMG x 8 - This goes for all of the dual-wield weapons. It doesn't matter how many of each there are but 16 in total is just too much for a map of this size. I'd reduce that to 8, maybe 10 at the most.
    Spikers x 4
    Plasma Pistol x 2
    Plasma Rifle x 2
    Brute Shot x 2 -Who doesn't like a brute shot but as long as the respawn time isn't too low then 2 is fine.
    Rocket Launcher x 1 - Might be a little overpowering in this map. If the clips are low (like 0 or 1) then it's okay, and if the respawn time is anywhere from 120-180 then that too is fine.
    Equipment

    Frag Grenade x 16 - Way too many, especially since you start with them on default. Reduce this to maybe 4-6.
    Plasma Grenade x 8 - That's fine. Hell even 10 wouldn't be too bad but 8 is fine.
    Power Drain x 1
    Trip Mine x 2 - I personally dislike trip mines in a non-vehicle based map or small maps but 2 is definitely too many in my opinion. 1 might be fine.
    Grav Lift x 2 - That's okay. Maybe 1 grav lift since you have all this other equipment but 2 is definitely fine.
    Regenerator x 1 - I love the regenerator. It's the counter-balance to many things and I usually have it in all of my maps.
    Overshield x 2 - I like how you put 2 overshields instead of 1 overshield and 1 camo. That makes it fair.

    I personally think that 2-4 pieces of equipment make a map and its gameplay work out the best. (excluding grenades)

    btw cryptic77, I think your sigs a little too big.

    Dude you said that there were too many weapons so why didn't you get rid of some. I think you should replace the rockets with a brute shot and get rid of the other brute shots. Maybe get rid of the spikers too.

    The structure of this map makes it seem like the upper floors would own the people on the ground. Especially with all of the BRs. All the power weapons and equipment would make the game less requiring skill and more of who has the power weapons. This map would be much better if you took out some weapons/equipment and added a little more cover for the people downstairs.

    EDIT: P.S. good job striving to make the map balanced weapon wise.

    I like this map's layout, and it seems to have good flow, but it needs interlocking done in several spots in the map just to put it up to par. Also, I would recommend using fusion to smooth out the wall stopping people from getting out of the map. Keep up the good work!

    I agree it doesn't look like u fused a lot I'm mean come on the map looks great don't get me wrong it just seems like a boring map not to rude or anything but it seems empty and crowded at the same time!! Sorry keep forging you'll do great!

    From the first picture,the map didn't look bad,but from the other pics it looks like you got lazy and threw stuff around.Try to interlock all the boxes to make it alot smoother and you also had alot of dumpsters.Just be a little more creative and the map will be nice.

    I like the layout a lot. I like the cleanness of this map, though it seems to be in need of minor interlocking for viewing pleasure. That's just meh but whatever, nice map, good post.

    Looks very organized, fusing would be a good idea to avoid gaps between the boxes. Also it would be a good idea to decline the amount of power weapons on the map as well. Otherwise its very simple and easily playable but I wouldn't call it "Complex." (Unless you mean Comm - Plex).

    Very nice map! You know, the weapon placement can be good sometimes. If there are a lot of weapons, gameplay gets more intense cuz people are constantly running for weapons and you can pick a spot and pick em off while they are trying to get the weapons. But, gameplay can get unfair if someone camps with good weapons.

    I'm just letting you guys know that I'm in the process of making a V2 of this map, so don't worry about how it looks now. I should have this edited by tommorrow night.
