Okay so everyone knows about timed map events and most know about switches. I would like to know if there is some way to make the items that don't start at the beginning to not spawn until the other object is destroyed or if it always spawns after 3mins. It(grav lift specifically) doesn't let me set it to not spawn at start and never spawn. This would greatly affect the map I'm currently making so please answer quickly. EDIT: If anyone understands that you get a ducky :squirrel_rubberduck: So apparently my question was phrased in a confusing way so I will reiterate. When I try to make a switch it automatically changes settings of the object to "Spawn at Start 'Yes' " (if I set "Resapwn time 'Never' " first) and "Respawn time '180' " (if I set 'Spawn at start to 'No' " first). Is there some way around this? Because I would like the rounds to last longer than Three Minutes
If you put 2 of the same object on a map (grav lift for example) Put one to, 'respawn at start - no' and 'respawn time - never' Put the other to what you want. Put minimum on map to '1' When you blow up the normal grav lift, the never respawning one will be forced to respawn, and when that blows up the other one will respawn and that wont come back again. Mix around with this to find the kind of style you want.
umm.... did you even read it all the waythrough or did you stop at If my question was confusing I'm sorry about ^^that^^, but the way I said it makes sense in my mind. Yes I've already stated that I know how to make a switch The problem is... It automatically switches it back to '3min spawn' or 'spawn at start'(whichever I try to set second) when I press 'A'.
Yeah, IVlatty has the right idea. I was thinking about incorporating that into a maze-type map where you need to use that to open up a door. If you have ever played on the map SCARABUNLIMIT3D, it demonstrates how that technique works.
