I want an external capture card for Christmas, but I don't know where to look. Can anybody point to me where a good capture card for an xbox 360 would be?
ya sure, Video editing software and hardware, PC TV Tuner and video transfer industry leader Pinnacle Systems. it's also good because they come with a editing program
People are surely going to recommend Dazzle 100's. Those cost around a $100. Fail IMO What I got isn't even intended for capturing games. Its a Dazzle 101, not 100. That one costs only $50, and works just as good IMHO.
I am not worried about the cost. I am just trying to find stuff that I want right now because there is nothing but this so far lol.
you forgot to mention if your looking for an external or internal one aswell, depending on your needs. http://www.forgehub.com/forum/videos/20697-advance-video-capture-guide.html
I really don't know what you mean by internal or external. I will read that guide and hopefully figure out. Edit: I want an external.
Just go with the Dazzle. Cheap, easy to use, great quality, and comes with good software. Here it is Plus everyone I know that owns this has never had a problem with it and many people have this so customer service and fix up help should not be too hard to find.
Witch dazzle did you get? I have the DVC 190 and 110. I had troubles with the drivers with vista. I use studio 10 to capture and vegas to edit. I've got it running in HD with a few upgrades to it.
Hmmm.... Never used Justin tv but I know my computer has a high RAM and I can view what I'm capturing on a small window on my computer... I am sure there is some way it is possible....
Dazzle video creator plus. It's easy to use. Seriously lol. It's like 80 dollars though so yea :\ up to you pal. Here's what the quality looks like: Hog Lawl - (TEST) The quality is much better on youtube but yea.
You can also set it on Pinnacle 12 or probably any video editing software to DV (Full Screen) which enables the High Quality. I am pretty sure I have the card you have.
I would go with what someone else said, go for the red one ($50) instead of the silver (~$100). It's about the same except the fact you don't get the editing software. To be honest, the editing software isn't worth an added $10. It has horrible effects, you're doomed to the limited version if you don't have a DVD drive, it's extremely buggy, and crashes all the time for me. I'd go with something else, such as Adobe Aftereffects, or maybe even Windows Movie Maker if you're not going to do anything too extreme.
